Introduction
What if Christine chose to stay with Erik, and leave Raoul. Would her life be different? Would the Paris Opera House still stand?
Chapter 1:
"Ahh," Christine breathed the freshly cleaned stage, of the Opera Classique de Paris. She would be prepairing for the next Opera, On Call. A story about people trying out to get into a musical. Though only a few will make the call. Christine would be playing the lead, and Piangi would be playing the other lead.
A few nights before she performed Don Juan and played Amitta. During the middle of the play she had a choice to make, Raoul or Erik. She knew that Erik would do something horrible to the people she loved. And even though he was a murderer she loved him more. She chose him, and married him. Everyone was happy, he has stopped the murders and he can show his face, without hurting any one. But André and Firmin have quit. They didn't believe that Erik would turn good, they thought it was a trap.
Christine sat down in the middle of the stage, and read over her lines, for the first scene. Her lines weren't that hard, but she had a lot of them, and a lot of songs. Though as told by the director, Stephn Cozeat, she had to memorize the first scene lines, for today.
Annie: I don't know, Keneth. What if I don't make it.
Keneth: You'll be fine Annie. I know it. Just remember to breath.
Head of Play: Annie Proganeist? You're up.
Annie: Coming. I will be singing the song 'Whishing You Were Somehow Here Again', from Phantom the Opera.
You were once . . . my one campanion. You were all that mattered. You were once a friend and father. Then my world was shattered. Wishing you were somehow here again. Wishing you were somehow near. Sometimes it just seemed, if I just dreamed, somehow you would be here. Wishing I could hear your voice again. Knowing that I never would."
Head of Play: Thank you Annie.
Christine read her lines over and over again. Trying to memorize. Then Stephn came in. "Christine? Why are you here so early? Practice doesn't start until 12:30 and it's only 10:00." Stephn asked walking up to her. "I still need to memorize my lines, and get all my stage directions down. I haven't had much time lately. With the moving in and stuff." Christine said happily. Thinking of Erik made her smile, and made her happy. She stood up and practiced her stage directions. But before she could start singing Steph spoke up. "Christine. Go down, see your husband, and come back when rehersal starts." "Okay," Christine said happily.
Christine walked into her dressing room. She went through her mirror, and made her way down to her home. She heard beautiful music. The beautiful music continued. Christine continued to walk towards the beautiful music. She walked into her home. There at the organ she saw her best friend Meg Giry, singing with her husband. "Meg?" Christine said angrily walking up to her husband. "Care to explain." Christine asked in an unhappy tone.
