Surprisingly, there is not thread on Buffy, Tear!

“Into every generation a Slayer is born. One girl in all the world, a Chosen One. One born with the strength and skill to fight the vampires, to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers.”

Buffy survived an amazing 7 years on TV, almost not making it past season one. But, unfortunately, Buffy herself decided to Stake the show. Sarah Michelle Gellar decided that she wanted to move on with her Career and focus more on Movies, and get out of the Buffy Role.

Season One: We meet Buffy, and her friends Xander, Willow, and the horrific Cordilia. She transfer from LA to Sunnydale and learns that there is a Hell mouth underground. She meets her new Watcher "Giles." And her new love interest, Angel. She hears of the Master, and that the prophecy is that he will kill her. At the end of the Season, The master drowns Buffy but Luckily Xander revives her. And she kills the master.

Season Two: The Season opens with Buffy returning from summer at her father’s house. She has an Attitude problem due to the fact that the Anointed one, who will make the master rise, is trying to bring him back to life. He fails. A new woman is in town, and her name is Kendra, a slayer who was called due to Buffy’s death in season one. A new Bad Guy comes to town, Spike, and his girlfriend Drusilla. Angel and the gang return and as well as Jenny Calendar, who helps Buffy destroy the Master. Unfortunately, due to Angels Experience of True Happiness, due Buffy sleeping with him. He has become Angelus, and we learn his soul has been taken away. We also learn that Jenny Calendar is a gypsy and knew of Angels Case. As well as the Judge S resurrection, Buffy ends up Killing both Angel and the Judge. Drusilla ends up Killing Kendra and Buffy Runs away.

Season Three: Buffy is now Living in La, but cannot take the pressure of Living alone, and returns to Sunnydale. With her return, getting used to her friends again, who are scared Buffy changed, and meets Faith, the next slayer called due to Kendra’s Death? Here we meet the Mayor of Sunnydale who has a nasty past dating back to far for him to be in such a healthy state that he is in. Faith, who is adjusting to Buffy and her friends, has a new watcher, Wesley, who is introduced. Buffy feels like Faith is taking her friends away from her, and has no interest in here. But once they start to get along, Faith Accidentally Kills a man, who she mistakes as a Vampire. With Buffy doing a good deed, telling Faith it is wrong, Faith doesn’t listen. She goes under the Wing of the Mayor, Who is planning to kill the students on graduation, Fails, due to the fact that Buffy blows him up, as well as the rest of the school. Angel, who got his soul restored, leaves to LA.

Season 4: Collage Life. Buffy and Willow are now in collage, and Xander stays behind. With his new Girlfriend Anya, a past Vengeance Demon is looking for work. Buffy meets Riley, who is mysterious and is a teacher’s assistance. One night on Patrol, Buffy Sees Riley and a bunch of other men, dressed in Army Clothing. The result we find out that Riley works for the Initiative (Sp?). An organization that study Demons and keeps them from attacking the world. Buffy soon finds out that Adam, an experiment went wrong is loose from the Initiative. And is out to kill the Slayer. In a Result, he is too Strong for Buffy, and they must do a spell to make her "Uber Buffy" to kill him. Also, Willow finds a new found love, for Girls.

Season 5: In this season we meet dawn, Buffy’s sister, who in actuality is the Key to open the reality of Glory, a goddess. We find out that Dawns blood is needed to open the portal between worlds. Riley leaves Buffy and Buffy’s love live is on hold. Glory captures Dawn and prepares the ritual; in witch the portal is open. And Dawns blood can only close it. In a result, Buffy takes her own life instead of that of her sister Dawn.

Season 6: Buffy is resurrected, and they think she was in hell. But we learn she was actually in Heaven, and her friends find out in the Famous Musical episode "Once More with Feeling." Buffy has a new love interest. Spike who was once a Foe of Buffy. But she is too embarrassed to let her friends know. IN season 6, we meet the Nerd trio, who is obsessed with Comics and toys who plan to kill Buffy because of the pain caused throughout High school. They fail and Warren, the leader of the nerd trio Shoots Buffy, causing the bullet to go through her and strikes Tara, Willows girlfriend who just made up with Willow because she thought Willow was using too much Magic. In a result, Willow turns evil. And the only person, who can change her back, is Xander who does, with the Famous Yellow Crayon Ending.

Season 7: The final season of Buffy: Buffy and Spikes relationship grows from just Fooling around. Spike loves Buffy but he knows Buffy doesn’t love him, because she never got over Angel. We meet the first, who is un-killable and can take the form of any dead person; mainly he takes the form of Buffy. In this season, we find out that the first is planning on taking over Sunnydale. Thus, Willow seeks out all the potential Slayers, and Dawn is revealed as though she might be one. But it was a miscalculation. Faith, which was in Jail, breaks out and returns to Sunnydale to help Buffy, who is training the Slayers in training for the final Battle. At the end of the Season, Anya, Xanders Ex, is Killed, as well as Spike Who gives his life to close the hell mouth in Sunnydale, which is destroyed once the Hellmouth is closed.

I *heart* Buffy The Vampire Slayer it is one of my favorite television shows and it is very sad to see it won't be airing anymore new episodes.. but I will admit that the seventh season was starting to get really lame... cause sometimes shows just need to end. The storylines were great from 2nd season up until the end of the sixth season..

My favorite character was Willow,Anya and Tara. I was so sad with both Tara and Anya died, but I knew that Willow couldn't die because she's an origional character and they needed her to do wahtever she had to do in the seventh season.

My favorite episode though, I will admit, was Once More with Feeling.

It's hard to kill such a vital character to the series, but then keep bringing her back because she can't die, lol. I used to be a big fan of Buffy way back with the original movie, and about the first three seasons of the show. I started drifting away during Season 4, and then I hardly ever watched it again.

I loved BTVS so much; I didn't really enjoy season 6 (too dark) but season 7 was okay. Unfortunately, it was one of those shows that needed to end. :( I am a huge fan of SMG and of almost every cast member there ever was. (Especially Alyson Hannigan and Amber Benson--I thought they were amazing!) This is still the only TV show that ever made me cry multiple times (a fact that didn't escape my family's notice and led to much teasing). BTVS was an excellent show, as is the show I'm about to start a thread on: Veronica Mars! :)

Of course with middle schol, I started to watch about every other episode, but I'm still in love with the show. Sarah Michelle Gellar is one of my favourite actresses and I love James Marsters. I have the first season on DVD and hope to get the others soon. :D I still love the movie too heh, I like Luke Perry. :D

I used to be quite the BTVS fan. I enjoyed seasons 1-4, but then, it seemed like they were getting desparate for storylines and fumbled the rest. I guess that's what happens to every great series, though (except the Simpsons; they never run out of new stuff to do.)

Oh yes Buffy fans! I am glad I am not alone , I'm infact obssessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I actually enjoyed the movie and the series. Joss is a genius who would of thought of taking a blonde cheerleader and making her a kick butt vampire slayer. Most excellent. My favorite Seasons are 2 and 6. If you can't tell already I am a big supporter of Buffy and Angel and than Buffy and Spike. Your all probably like you can't like both ships but, I do. Their both different and got me hooked. My favorite characters are Buffy, Cordelia, Spike and the evil yet cool Darla. This show was the second show that drawn me to the supernatural.

I litterally cried when this show ended. It was my favorite show on tv at the time. I made sure never to miss an episode and I went out to buy the dvd's when I heard they came out. I don't have a all time favorite episode because I loved all of them. I did like the idea of Spike and Buffy together because I was a die hard Spuffy fan. Now that the show is over I watch the dvd's to get my buffy fix for the day.

I saw some of the episodes from time to time, but I was never really able to watch a whole season. Sadness! I feel like I really missed out. But I may try to rent some seasons of Buffy so I can catch up. But I do know how the season ends. I heard it was very sad!

I am a big Buffy/Angel fan!!!

We have all 7 seasons of Buffy and all 5 seasons of Angel, and we have the original Buffy movie,
and I have all 3 Buffy soundtrack CD's: Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, The Album (music from seasons 1-4), Radio Sunnydale (music from seasons 5-7) and Once More, With Feeling and the Angel sound track CD: Live Fast, Never Die.

I Love episodes Fool for Love, Once More With Feeling and Hush from Buffy and Smiletime from Angel.

I am a Spuffy shipper, it was too depressing with Angel...
I'm also a James Marsters fan.

My Hubby loves Anya and has a thing for Alyison Hannagan...

I collect the Palz Buffy figures, they are kind of like lego figures. and I accually own the limited edition #3568 0f 5000 Battle-damaged Angel puppet replica doll.

My hubby and I accually have matching silver Claddagh wedding rings, but the funny thing is we chose the rings and got married before we even saw the Buffy T.V. series!

Oh, btw, Does anyone know the song played in the episode "Dead Things" during the cematary montage, just before the demons came and made time go wonkie on Buffy, making her believe that she killed Trina...
I've been having a difficult time trying to find out and I was really bummed that it wasn't on the Radio Sunnydale soundtrack.

Like the others who have posted here, i too was a Buffy addict. My schedul would revolve around when it was on, and i was rarely to busy to miss and episode. However i am dissapointed in myself to admit that there came a time when i gave it up because it seemed to lack the pizzaz it used to have. It ran its course and i never regret dedicating my valuable time to it, but i wasn't too upset when it ended. As for those who beleived Spike and Buffy were sole mates . . . i cant entirly agree because Buffy and Angel were perfect (well as perfect as a slayer and vamp w/a conscience can be). Spike was fun, but i dont think that he could truly accept that she was better than him.

All in all I'm only on the sixth seson episode 6 Can't wait to see seson seven though.

I have been a major fan since Episode #1 and have all of them taped. Someday, I will have a DVD player so I can get the whole series with all the extras.

It's an amazing story that just grew stronger as it went. I do take offense that Joss pushed the F/F and made any M/M a very big joke. That didn't seem so high-minded as people tried to make him out to be. He fell into the trap so many shows have: go for the two girls and make fun of gay/bi guys. Is this fair?! No! I think it's the creepy old studio execs wanting the girl on girl stuff but negating the idea of two males together.

Onward...

There are so many fantastic episodes: "Hush", "Once More With Feeling", "Becoming" and more. I love the Thanksgiving episode! There should be a seasonal showing. The episode in which Joyce is found dead, "The Body", shows the shock of loss more clearly than any other series or film I've ever seen. It is a horrifying and numbing experience, and he captures it. All of the characters undergo tremendous growth, and there is a great deal of drama. Yet, the humor is always there, including some tongue-in-cheek bits. The allusions made in the series are utterly dazzling!

My mother and I are Spike fans--especially when it comes to Spike and Buffy! Spike is a fantastic creation, and James Marsters gives him such humanity. Scratch the surface of the tough, cool vamp and there's a shy, insecure poet who was turned down by the girl he loved. How can there be a harsher moment than, after Spike reveals how he was crushed by Cecily, Buffy using Cecily's words on him: "You're beneath me" and throwing the money at the "neutered" vampire. *WEEPS* Watch James Marsters performance in just that one episode and be amazed! Within moments, he goes from threatening to hopeful romantic to a rejected, helpless creature, stifling tears as he gathers up the money.

All of the cast does a marvelous job, even when some aren't given a lot to work with. How strange to see minor characters leap into major roles!

Yes, we also watched every episode of "Angel".

I've watched all of the "Buffy" episodes at least a dozen or more times and the "Angel" ones at least three times. I truly never tire of them though "Buffy" is my favorite.

How nice that Joss Whedon was able to bring his vision of Buffy to TV after his rather unsuccessful battle with the film (his own confession).

I have actually *is embarassed* never seen this show. But, the other day, I saw a presentation about it and archetypes and I can honestly say I'm interested. How can I get a hold of it?
