Ok, I started this thread to hear about different props people have and different people that you have met. Post please. This isn't a thread where people will complain at bragging and nobody should feel bad about saying what they have.
So If you have any neat props or have been lucky enough to meet an actor, shout it here!

This was never an official prop from the Phantom of the Opera, but for halloween I bought a white mask like Erik's and carved half of it off, making it a half mask. It looked really good and I was going to use it, though the plans for Halloween never worked out. I'd rather buy one of the masks online. (One of my friends gave me a link a long time ago but I've lost it by now)

Oh that's neat! I have a broken mask I think it was Kevin Grey's. It has a hole in the forehead. It was the going away for my family when we left the tour. I also have a pretty ceramic mask from a mask shop in New Orleans.

I bought a white half mask a while ago - unfortuantly it looks really odd because of the eye holes and nose holes are rather big. My sister has a big black cloak (it's really a Nazgul (LOTR) cloak, but so) so basically, if I wore black clothes + mask + cloak, I'd be a perfect Phantom! :duck:

Wow. *Drools.* I'm jealous. Can you post a picture of it sometime? I like seeing what their signatures look like. XD
But I haven't really done much. *Blush.* I mean, a few minor things at school, like recommending it for plays and all, but nothing more. I don't really dress up for Halloween or anything. x_x;

I run the official website for Julie Hanson.
I have 3 autographs from Julie Hanson, 2 from Brad Little (as well as a picture with him), 2 from Tim Martin Gleason, 1 from Ted Keegan, 1 from Marni Rabb, 1 from Kate Wray, 1 from Kim Stengel, 1 from Erin Sacks, and 1 from David Cryer.
Halloween 2001, I was Christine in the wedding dress, and my friend Kyle was the Phantom. I also wore that Christine wedding dress to a performance of Phantom.
Sincerely,
Selenity

Wow! The bid is already up to $205. I think i've lost that chance.::sigh:: I love Phantom memorabilia. I hope to someday go back to New York again and get some more souviners. I only have a movie poster that used to hang up in one of the theaters when it first came out. I also have a dress from prom that reminds me of Christine's dress in Masquerade. I'm wishing for the chance that someone has a masquerade so I can wear it again.
The "memorabilia" that I have is more something that I got to experience last week. We were in Universal Studios Hollywood last Friday, and went on the tram tour first thing. I thought it was great to go by Stage 28 and hear about what it was like (Stage 28 is where the 1925 POTO movie Opera auditorium is still partially standing, also the oldest soundstage in the world). After the tram tour, I went up to talk to the tour guide about Stage 28 and was told it was closed and not even part of the VIP tour. I was disappointed, and still chatted with the guide back up to where the U.S. employees office was. He asked me to wait, and then came back out and told me that noone was filming inside and if I gave him my camera and promised not to post the pictures or use his name, he'd go in and get some pictures for me. We went with him and waited in the Lucy Ball exhibit until he returned (at which time I was so excited about the pictures I was speechless). Then he told me to give my camera to my husband and follow him, and he snuck ME into Stage 28 to see it for myself!!! It was one of the neatest experiences of my life, I was just awestruck the entire time. All that still stands from the 1925 film are the Opera boxes, they are reddish in colour, including the angels on the walls and the curtains in the box. There were carpenters in there working to get the stage ready for a new movie (You, Me and Dupree) so it smelled like sawdust, but it was still amazing.
So that's my 'mental' memorabilia (well and the photos I got). :)

I have several props from the show and been able to go backstage several times and touch a few. I've met Gary Mauer, Beth Southard, D.C. Anderson, Marie Danvers, Stephen Tewksbury, Jim Weitzer, Michael Gillis, Geoff Packard, John Cudia, Greg Mills, Sara Jean Ford, Kelly Grant, Michael McCoy, Bruce Winant from the US Tour, and Hugh Panaro, Sandra Joseph, Tim Martin Gleason, and George Lee Andrews on Broadway.
I have various Playbills and programs signed by most of these people, in additon to some random knick-knacs I've collected from the show. The Tour cast gave me a poster last month signed by the entire company. :) I also have a collection of the San Francisco Phantom of the Opera music boxes/snow globes.
I've been Erik for the past four Halloweens, and collected quite the costume. For photos of me in costume, stage door pics, and other memorabilia I have, please check out my site located in my sig! :)

I found this page for an array of POTO-related collectibles and wearables. I hope this link works. They even offer globes (aka snowglobes), along with mask earrings and other jewelry pieces. I've encountered several sites that offer POTO-tailored items.

This one features figurines and some of the same items as the one above:

This one focuses on jewelry, including a ring:

I have to share a bit of my experience with you guys on this.
From the Broadway Cast with Kevin Grey and Teri Bibb:
I have a signed and sealed I guess you could call it a poster for the play? They framed it for me, after they had all signed it with metallic pens and presented it as a gift to me. I have a videotape of this entire meeting. They sung Happy-Birthday to my mother, and I have all of this recorded on tape. I think I will transfer it to dvd and post it on You Tube.
I have a mask used in that play, Several behind the scenes pictures. Several props from the show itself, Several autographed props and pictures.
They treated us really well, and were great people. It was an amazing experience.

I saw the show back in April for the first time. First: It was amazing.
I went with my school choir. We walked into the theatre, and there were people selling souvenirs (of course) but one man, selling souvenirs, was singing a parody of "music of the night" about buying souvenirs! (It MADE my LIFE) I bought a t-shirt and a souvenir programme.
Then, after the show, we got to go to the stage door and meet the cast. The best part about that is that we hugged John Cudia (The Phantom)
Again, it made my life.
And, as for other such things, with one of my phriends who is also a phan, we made "phancakes" (we shaped the pancake batter into masks and roses and such) and then we each got a rose and then tied a black ribbon around it.
Yes, I am obsessed

Well, I have to say you have missed some really good things about the show if you just saw it for the first time recently.
The old show when it first came over here, for some reason I really liked the original lyrics much better. They were more sophisticated and intelligent.
For some reason they felt they had to "dumb it down" for Americans, and I think thats pretty insulting.
Either way, congrats on falling in love with a wonderful story.

Today, I had to get a bone scan for my foot and they had to inject some radioactive material into me. And I am terrified of needles, so I went in and I was sobbing. I had my iPod, so my dad to console me, telling me to concentrate on my opera. I tried, but being so scared of needles, my bawling worsened. So I went in and they tried to talk to me about opera. A subject that came up was Phantom of the Opera. So I chattered on and on about it (still sniffling and crying, getting eyeliner everywhere...). They asked me if I sang and suggested that I sang during the injection. So my dad started me off on Angel of Music. The doctors liked it apparently. It was hard to sing PotO with Andrea Bocelli music blaring out of your headphones, into your ear. So I started singing "Vivo Per Lei" whilst the doctors yelled "SING FOR ME!!!!" and attempted at the needle yet again. It attracted attention and two other doctors came in. It was nervewraking, but a trip to the doctos that I will never forget...

I wish you had that on video tape.
It is so cliche, but I sung "Music of the Night" at Florida All-State, lol, thats the best I have.

Earlier this month, about a week ago actually, I went with my Vocal class to see this musical for the first time ever during it's tour stop in Tulsa (which runs until July 13th, or somewhere around there.) I kept my program, and I got a pen, and a T-shirt with the broken letters logo and the mask on it glows in the dark!
My other thing I really cherish out of my small collection is a wooden angel I got for Christmas a couple years ago. Someone at my grandparents church in Alva had gone on a mission trip to Isreal and bought a bunch of figurines carved out of real tree wood! Grandma and Grandpa bought some and gave one to all of us grandkids. I call mine my Angel of Music.
