Yep! I've read The Other Boleyn Girl, Queens Fool, and the Wideacre trilogy. She's a very good writer. If you havent read Wideacre then you should :)

I met Phillipa Gregory last week.
She did a talk at a large school near mine. t'was in this huge old hall (the right to build it was granted by Henry VIII, I think) and there was a Tudor feast and people in costume and stuff...verrah odd. Anyway, she's a really interesting person, and has a wicked sense of humour :D
I really want the new book - The Boleyn Inheritance. Maybe for Christmas.. There's another book too; quite old. Set in Bristol (yay! t'is where I live.) about the slave trade. Rather like "Pirates!" by Celia Rees.

The only writer I've ever met is Jaqueline Wilson, ans well as other nana authors who visit my school.
And a tudor feast! I would have overcome a million obstacles to come!

Wow, that sounds class. I’m not too fond of the Wilacker books myself but I loved ‘The Other Boylen Girl’ and ‘The Boylen Inheritance’ was fantastic. I think she does a fabulous of job of creating Royal Tudor England so realistically. I would love to meet her.
