Out of curiosity, what's everyone's signs? I mean, I generally don't buy into horoscopes and compatibility based on zodiac signs and stuff like that, but I find it extremely interesting to see if someone's personality matches their sign. I also occasionally read my horoscope to see what's supposed to happen that day. Don't get me wrong, I believe in that sort of thing, but I don't think that half of what they say in the paper and such is true.

Gah, I can't make a selection! I have two signs; Aries and Taurus. My birthday is April 20, so if you look in a bonafide Astrology book - meaning like from an actual Metaphysical shop and not the kind you pick up at book fairs - you will more often than not find that my birthday is either left out completely or is listed under both signs. This is because I was born on the cusp.
Sure enough, I have personality attributes of both of my signs. People born on the cusp or on the two days following or preceding it generally have the mixed personalities moreso than people born on other days. Just a bit of trivia for all of you. ^_^

Virgo... the Virgin!
What really intrests me is which signs are compatible. Now that I'm single, I need to know what sign to look for :P. As far as I know, Virgo and Pisces (my ex) aren't meant for each other.
I don't really believe in astrology. I just look 'em up for fun. I used to have a Chinese horoscope book... I think I was the sheep. I don't remember!
Speaking of Astrology, I have a quote from the Waterboy!
Bobby: Mama, Vicki's an astrologist.
Mama: Well, I don't believe in that sort of thing personally. Astronomy is one of the many tools of the Devil.
I love this movie... I'm such a nerd!

I'm another "cusper"! You do have a debatable date listed. For a couple of centuries, it's been hotly debated when Capricorn begins. Most modern charts start on the 22nd, not the 23rd. So, my sign has been a souce of great debate. Since I was born on the cusp, I sort of refer to Sagittarius, too, though most charts have me as Capricorn.
I'm Capricorn per popular charts, and my personality does land in that realm for the most part, especially the need to know where I will land before I leap.

Shadow - your birthday is the day after mine! XD
So..mine's April 19th and right at the end of Aries, which apparently means I'm very stubborn (no denying that!) and opinionated (or that!) but that I'm loyal to my friends. Which is also true. Heh, I suppose it is true to that extent. But when I read the ones predicted weekly for Aries, they never correlate to my life unless they're really vague, so could mean a whole host of things!

I'm the only Sagi right now. I'm special! :P
This freedom-loving individual is jovial and good-humored. Sometimes they can even be practical jokers. They need to consider that the fun they get out of the practical joke though is sometimes not as funny as thought when it affects the one whom the joke is being played.
Sagittarians are honest and hardworking but they need a good challenge to keep them interested. Intelligence is something they value in others because they are generally loaded with it themselves. Playing checkers and then thinking of the beginnings of mankind is something that suits their philosophical tastes. And Sagg people sometimes like change for change sake. They love open spaces and need this in their office or need to work outdoors. Sagg people cannot stand to be closed in. These people are not detail-oriented but they need challenge to keep them from becoming bored.
Career paths for them might be found in publishing, the law, teaching or religion.
Ever the optimist, Sagg people see hope in everything they do. This trait can also make them a little careless because they believe the best will always befall them.
In relationships, they need to be with someone who doesnÂ’t confine them. Their independent spirits canÂ’t accept any restrictions. They are great sexual partners and look for people with intelligence in which to have a relationship. A partner who isnÂ’t superficial and has marked intelligence turns them on. They donÂ’t need a lot of money and would rather read or travel.
A lot of that I believe is true. I get bored easily. lol. Need a challenge to keep me interested. Love to travel, always broke. As for the relationship aspect, unfortunately I haven't found anyone intelligent yet to bring out the best in me. They're all idiots.
My Birthday is November 27th.

I'm most definitely a Libra - October 18th. From NCBuy.com: (http://www.ncbuy.com/entertainment/astrology/libra-about.html)
The Astrological Symbol of Libra is the Scales. Like the scales of Justice, Librans are objective and just. They abhor unfairness and conflict, striving above all for peace; but at times they are easily deterred from their beliefs. Librans are able to see all sides of an argument, but as their mental scales sway back and forth they may never find balance and become fickle and indecisive. Sometimes they are so eager to avoid conflict that they give in to avoid argument, even when they know they are right, and this may make them seem insincere. Diplomatic and cooperative, they are skilled at initiating group projects. In this way, Libra exemplifies the Cardinal Quality assigned to it. When Librans set goals for themselves, they are determined to succeed. Within the Zodiac, Libra is opposite Aries, the Sign of Self, so Libras tend to be about other people rather than personal development. They tend to be socially inclined and charming, but they may have a need to be liked that makes them too compliant to others' wishes.
Libra is ruled by the Planet Venus. In ancient Roman mythology, Venus (and her Greek equivalent, Aphrodite) was the Goddess of Love, Beauty, and Pleasure. She represented joy, happiness, and appreciation of beautiful things. On the negative side, her appreciation for sweets and luxury could result in overindulgence, and she could be materialistic. Venus rules both Libra and Taurus. Libra is the masculine, or day, aspect of Venus; Taurus is the feminine, or night. Both Signs have a great appreciation for beauty, but while Taurus appreciates the beauty of things, Libra is more interested in the beauty of other people. Librans are happiest when they're in a relationship. They are seductive and attractive, and their cultural awareness and talkative nature make them help them shine in the social situations they so enjoy. Because of their social nature, they can be vain or overly dependent on others' approval. Many people born under Libra have strong artistic tendencies and a refined sense of style, but they can also become lazy and apathetic if bored. They are usually controlled and rational, but at times they may be self-indulgent.
The Element associated with Libra is Air. Air Signs are intellectual: they tend to respond to the world through intellect, rather than physical action, practicality, or emotion. Libra's intellectual orientation to the world around them makes them skilled at communication and abstract reasoning, and their intelligence combines with their interest in other people to become an intellectual exploration of the people around them. Because their efforts are mentally rather than emotionally motivated, Librans tend to be very judicial; they are good at diplomacy and compromise. Because they are generally reluctant to face confrontation, people born under Libra learn to be persuasive, courteous, and adaptable. But this may also make them seem cold and unemotional or manipulative. They are team workers, skilled at cooperative action, but they can also be self-doubting. Open minded and always polite, they have a strong sense of loyalty because of their ability to put themselves into other people's shoes.
Librans love to debate but not to quarrel; a fine distinction that is nonetheless very important to people born under this Sign. They are kind and considerate, and they rarely display anger. Instead they may employ subtle means of getting even when their strong sense of fairness and legality or refined sensitivities are violated.
In their leisure time, Librans tend to have less energy that other Signs, and they have a definite lazy streak, preferring to read and go out with friends. Exercise generally appeals to them only if it allows socializing at the same time, but some have a particular affinity for activities that let them get out in nature, such as hiking and horseback riding. In love relationships, Libra is playful and romantic.
Libra rules the kidneys and lower back. People born under Libra may be more susceptible to back pain or strain than people of other Signs. Libra's colors are ivory, pink, and light blue; these three colors are harmonious in all their combinations, and they all appear in the sunset sky that Libra represents.
The great strength of the Libra-born is in their drive for peace and harmony. Their ability to obtain balance and cooperation from a disparate group is unparalleled. Their skill at seeing all sides of a situation makes them one of the most just characters of the Zodiac.
That seems to fit me very well, except for my regular tendencies toward evil. :D I also take criticism very well, and have no problem with appropriate confrontation. XD

I do horoscopes as a hobby. Mom did them as her job back in college. ^_^
I'm a Scorpio. I also looked up my full chart (where each planet was in regards to which sign). 7 out of the 9 planets were in the Scorpio alignment, which is very rare -- it's normally only 3 or 4. Plus, my moon AND rising were in scorpio! I have so much Scorpio in me, that there's little else. And it's so true of my personality as well. Even my physical features and personal interests (such as favorite color) match Scorpio.
.____. The only thing I don't have in common with my sign is the fact that Scorpios tend to sleep around. ><;; I don't ever want that trait.
FYI, Jamie, Pisces and Virgo are actually a good match. They're one of the best. So maybe look for a different pisces -- they're very emotionally unstable people, which can be too much of a burden for a calculating Virgo. Or maybe you want a different water-sign-partner. Cancer will nurture you and want to settle down and have a family. XDD Scorpios will take the lead in relationships, but you can't always trust them to stay loyal to only you. .___. God I can't believe I just said that. @__@

*raises hand* I seem to be the only 'Aquarius' at the moment too
I followed the link in James' post to NCBuy and got this:
Aquarius is the eleventh Sign of the Zodiac. After the last three Signs' learning about other people, Aquarius works with social institutions to make them work for people as they were meant to work. They are humanitarians and philanthropists, the visionaries of the Zodiac. Friendship is important to them, and they have many acquaintances in addition to their close friends. As the eleventh Sign, Aquarius also rules the eleventh House: the House of Friends.
The Sign In Depth
The Astrological Symbol of Aquarius is the Water Bearer. Like the Bearer bringing water to his people, this Sign brings new ideas to the world. It represents consciousness and the flowing of ideas, but they can also be impatient and temperamental with people who don't share their visions. They can be opinionated, and they work hard to bring their ideas to fruition, stubbornly refusing to give up their causes. In this way, Aquarius exemplifies the Fixed Quality assigned to it. They are independent and individualistic, within the world but detached from it. While they are peace-loving and friendly, they can also be cruel and tormenting of people who disagree with them. Within the Zodiac, Aquarius is opposite Leo, the Sign of Pleasure. While Leo focuses on personal pleasure and comfort, Aquarius tends to be about philanthropy and other people. Groups of people are important to them, rather than single individuals.
Aquarius is ruled by the Planets Uranus and Saturn. In ancient Roman mythology, Saturn (and his Greek equivalent, Cronus) was the father of many Gods, including Zeus. Uranus was associated with the Earth, and he was the oldest god. In ancient times, Saturn ruled both Capricorn and Aquarius; Aquarius is the masculine, or day, aspect and Capricorn is the feminine, or night. Aquarius' ability to inflict torment on enemies comes from Saturn, while Capricorn is affected by Saturn's hardworking influence. When Uranus was discovered, astrologers assigned it as the modern ruler of Aquarius. It is from this Planet that Aquarians receive their visionary nature. Uranus is associated with progress and technology -- anything that is radical -- and it rules electricity and Astrology. Some Aquarians have genius that borders on insanity, and their progressive ideas and association with anything that is different makes them different to Capricorn. Aquarians are inventors, unpredictable and unconventional, but they may also be inconsistent and erratic.
The Element associated with Aquarius is Air. Air Signs are intellectual: they tend to respond to the world through intellect, rather than physical action, practicality, or emotion. In Aquarians, intellect manifests itself in their fixed opinions and eagerness to share and discuss them. While people born under Aquarius are tolerant and broad-minded, they tend to stick to their beliefs. Their intellect makes them logical and self-confident, but it may also make them aloof from the people around them. They are original, offbeat, and even eccentric, but they are also rather bored by detail. Reformist and experimental, they may also seem cold toward people who don't share their intellectual orientation to life.
Aquarians tend to have talent in a number of areas, both scientific and creative. They are unique and rebellious people, driven to change the world. They can sometimes be show-offs, but it's usually to draw attention to their causes rather than to themselves. Their freedom is important to them, and they are often driven to help others become free as well.
In their leisure time, people born under Aquarius are social animals. They greatly prefer team sports to solitary athletics, and they often have a fondness for baseball and tennis. In love relationships, Aquarius is flirtatious, not possessive or jealous.
Aquarius rules the ankles. People born under Aquarius may be more susceptible to sprains than people of other Signs. Aquarius's colors are the colors of the Water they carry: turquoise, aqua, and silver.
The great strength of the Aquarius-born is in their visionary nature. They are the people who take the world to the next level; they make people look at things in a different way than before. Their ability to break the rules and move beyond what others think is possible makes them one of the most innovative characters of the Zodiac.
Quite a lot of that fits me - but I personally don't think that I am eager to share opinions, self confindent, eccentric, bored by detail, flirtatious, or many other of the descriptions. I love water as nature and art, but I hate swimming :D
The bit about ankles made me laugh! 'cause I sprained my right ankle 3 months ago now, and although healing slowly I'm nowhere near back to normal, am being referred by my physiotherapist to a orthapedic specialist, and have been unable to play sport for those long months (some would love that, but seeing as I play for three different hockey teams it gets quite annoying.. )

I am a Cancer by all means, July 19. I also went ot the link James' post, tis very fascinating:
The Astrological Symbol of Cancer is the Crab. Like the Crab, Cancerians go through life with a strong shell around them that is not easily broken. If necessary, they can retreat into their shell until it's safe to come out, but sometimes they become moody and refuse to leave. They can, quite literally, be crabby. In general, Cancerians are the first people to express emotion in any given situation -- the first to laugh and the first to tears. In this way, Cancer exemplifies the Cardinal Quality assigned to it. They are strong willed and persistent, and the rare occasions when their sympathy and kindness doesn't get them what they want they aren't above using emotional manipulation -- tears or sulking -- to get it. Within the Zodiac, Cancer is opposite Capricorn, the Sign of Social Status. While Capricorn is about how the world perceives you, people born under Cancer are more interested in their family and home life. They tend to be very protective of loved ones. They usually aren't ambitious, preferring the gentle and passive side of life.
Cancer is ruled by the Moon. In ancient times, the Moon was perceived as the Great Mother, responsible for nurturing all life. It represents fertility and instinct. The Moon controls the tides and all water on Earth, and it has a strong effect on human emotions. People born under Cancer tend to be more sensitive to the movement of the Moon through the Zodiac than other Signs are, their moods changing with the Moon's passage. They may be brooding or touchy when the Moon is passing through incompatible Signs, but strongly intuitive when the Moon is in a favorable Sign. Because of the maternal aspect of the Moon, Cancerians tend to have a strong need to protect themselves and their families. Generally domestic and peaceful, they have strong emotional drives and won't sit still when loved ones are threatened. Despite their general timidity, they can be patronizing when people cross them.
The Element associated with Cancer is Water. Water Signs are emotional: they tend to respond to the world through emotion, rather than physical action, practicality, or intellect. Cancerians are very intuitive, and emotion is a key part of their lives. They may be sentimental, often becoming collectors of things that remind them of family or the past. They need to be careful not to hoard things, however, and they can be possessive of what is theirs. They are thrifty, and dislike wasting money on frivolous things. Because of their strong emotions, people born under Cancer may tend to live in the past. They are easily hurt, so they attempt to protect themselves from the emotional stress of the present by rehashing the past instead. Their warm and caring nature is very sensitive to other people's harshness. It is important for Cancerians to learn not to jump into self-protective mode at the first sign of trouble, because their need for security can prevent them from discovering new things.
Because they are the nurturers of the Zodiac, people born under Cancer have a strong association with food. Additionally, they are very imaginative and sensitive, making many Cancerians excellent amateur chefs. Some go on to make a career out of cooking! They also tend to be more patriotic then other Signs, largely due to their strong emotional attachment to the place of their birth.
In their leisure time, Cancerians tend to enjoy physical exercise, finding that sweat helps them counter the stress inherent in their emotional natures. They often enjoy team sports because of the feeling of family within a team. Water sports also appeal to them. Artistic endeavors, written or on canvas, allow them to channel their swirling emotions into productive output. In love relationships, Cancer is caring, devoted, and romantic.
Cancer rules the breasts and stomach. People born under Cancer may suffer from stomach and digestive problems more often than people born under other Signs. The Moon is silver and white, and these are Cancer's colors as well.
The great strength of the Cancer-born is in their devotion to family. Their emotional orientation to life help them understand the difficulties their loved ones must work through. Their affectionate natures make them among the most caring characters of the Zodiac.
Lots of this is true, I tend to dwell on the past and my stomach is extremely sensitive. I'm also emotional, it's kind of annoying. It's strange how so much of that describes me.

Ah! The second Cancer to post in this thread! I was born June 29th. I'm a cancer by all means, i love to help people and I have a very motherly attitude. Reading through what Angel posted, I find that everything there is mostly true for me. I'm very emotional and I tend to get upset at every small thing.
I've learned the hard way that Cancer and Capricorn are not compatible. My ex was a capricorn and we didn't get along so well when we were dating. The sign I get along the most with is Pices. Since they are both water signs, Cancer and Pices get along very well.

I was a premi, my personality matches that of an Aries(which is what I am) and a Taurus(which, I would be if my mom had me at full term). Its funny, because, the things that determine your personality by the month you were born, both April and May fit me....and my bf of 3 years is a Cancer, and he matches that perfectly.
July 17th. I guess that would make me a Cancer. (As if I didn't know that already!) Actually, I just went through a phase in which I became obsessed with horoscopes, thanks to a certain Leo. *sigh* I like horoscopes, I always have to give my RP characters a birthdays and thus a zodiac sign.
Watch it though. My Chinese horoscope is the Dragon, and my rising and moon signs are Sagittarius and Virgo, so definitely what you see is not what you get. ^_~ Not to mention there is that shell around Cancers. (But the bottomline is no matter how you try to hide it, you are still too sensitive for your own good).
There are many Cancers around in this thread... we should take it over! Mwhahahaha!
Oh. And Dark Poison, Cancers and Capricorns are polar opposites, meaning they either get along perfectly or not. So it is possible to get along with Capricorns, one of my best friends in college is a Capricorn, but I also know you can completely hate them.

I'm a Scorpio! I don't know how much of one I am, but I am one! I'm also a Tiger, water and fire sign, yay! I'm steamy!
I was born September 19 so that makes me a Virgo. My Chinese zodiac is a Horse and my element is Earth. I find it a little funny that it all goes together in one big triangle. I enjoy looking at my horoscope. I think it's fascinating trying to determine some body's day just by knowing their birthday and looking up at the stars.

I love reading my horoscope at the end of the day I like looking back to see if my horoscope actually matched the trials I went through that day, what's kind of creepy is that lately my horoscope has matched the day I've had.
My birthday is July 1st so I am a Cancer, funny I have a couple friends who are also cancer but most of my friends are Aries.

Im an Aries, and people who know me say Im a typical one - but I can also be a bit of a romantic daydreamer in my own humble opinion. I was born on April 3rd a good many years ago at l0 past 4 in the morning but it was the day the clocks were put back an hour which made it 10 past 3, and to add to the confusion it was easter sunday with all the spring flowers blooming and then it snowed heavily. 0h yeah, I was due 12th April actually so I absolutly ruined my mothers easter outing.....

Sagittarius are the happiest and most enthusiastic of all signs. They have a highly intelligent and creative mind, which they tend to hide behind a clownish exterior. The zodiac sign is the archer. Sagittarius are also sometimes prone to recklessness, impulsiveness and impatience.

Oh! Thank you!! I have a key chain on my purse with my birthday and sign on it. It says: People born on this day live in an electrically charged world of complex plans and grand designs. With unyeilding perserverance, they are deeply committed to their work or projectsthat can sometimes be years in the making. They function best with a comfortable home life, but with the freedom to let their minds roam.

Quickie:
You cannot brag about being selfless if you're doing it only to impress someone.
Overview:
A little fun might just turn your day around. Instead of taking a coffee break, pretend you're a kid again and get a juice box or a popsicle; instead of going to the gym, break out the jump rope or the hula hoop. Whee!

I'm a Taurus, but that doesn't describe me at all. I'm not practical, good at following through with things, even-tempered, or obsessed with money. Half the time I'm walking around with my head in the clouds and people have to bring me back down to earth, I rarely consider the realistic connotations such as cost when I want to do something, I have a huge amount of stories I started and never finished, I get really random mood swings and angry outbursts, and I tend to ignore money and shrug it off as something other people will take care of. I think I might have to get over that before I become in charge of my own money...
I suppose some of the characteristics fit me. I can be stubborn, argumentative, and greedy at times, but many other signs describe me much better. I've been told by other people that I don't seem like a Taurus at all. I think I was born in the wrong month (not to mention the wrong year, but that's another story). Because of this, I'm not really sure if I buy into this whole astrology thing. It's fascinating to learn about the different signs and characteristics, but it's also hard to think of it as true.

I'm a Cancer. I took this information from astrology.com:
Cancer, the fourth sign of the zodiac, is a water sign, which signifies your highly emotional nature. Being under the sway of the element of water also makes you highly caring, generous and intuitive. You are highly evolved, even spiritual — the water signs are karmically developed and refined in spirit.
Water is malleable and adaptable. You are very much like that. You adapt when you have to, but you much prefer to make changes on your own terms.
Like water, you are soothing and nourishing too. Life-supporting energies are at the heart of your character. You will act as a support for many people — in your own family and beyond.
You are extremely receptive to your environment and the people around you, and will often ‘pick up’ people’s energies, moods and thoughts. This ability serves you well; your intuition about people is quite often correct. Your knack of knowing people’s issues before they even open their mouths attracts them to you. The difficulty with this, though, is that you can tend to absorb their emotions — negative as well as positive.
Back on the plus side, you love to mix with all sorts of people. Social activities are an essential ingredient in your development. You are a great success socially, because you can convey your wisdom to others so well — Cancerians have very expressive faces.
Creative enterprises are a great way to make the most of your moods and your imagination. Music and writing are perfect vehicles for you. You can express the inner part of your being as entertaining literary, art or music pieces.
This kind of sounds like me, but not too much. I'm moody yes, but I'm so much more than that. Basically, I'm not going to depend on stars and when I was born under them to say who I am thank you very much.

Forgive me if I ramble a bit; I've been looking into astrology too much for it to be healthy lately.
Technically, I'm a Scorpio/Saggittarius. Born on November 21st. I've certainly got both Scorp and Sag traits in me, without a doubt. Stubborn, drawn to the dark side of life/dreams (I.E. Phantom.), hypersensetive, and withdrawn. On the Sag side; A philosoper at heart with a love of travel. Also, I'm an Aries Rising with a Taurus Moon. So, I'm Fixed Water (Ice) mixed with two Fire signs and an Earth sign. Which explains why nothing worked with my last boyfriend (ish person. He was an Aries. He was into me. I wasn't really into him. Long story. To give you the highlights, he wanted everything from me, and everything for me changes frequently. I'm a huge contradiction. Always have been.).
Yay Scorpio number six?

I'm a Leo through and through. It's incredible how much of a Leo I am. And I'm kinda proud of it too, which just emphasises how true a Leo I am. :p
The Astrological Symbol of Leo is the Lion. The Lion is the King of Beasts, and Leos enjoy being treated as the kings and queens of the Zodiac. Like the Lion, Leos have great physical strength and stamina. They tend to be opinionated, but they have a strong ability to see their projects through to the end. In this way, Leo exemplifies the Fixed Quality assigned to it. Leos may be arrogant or egotistical, but they are good organizers and tend to be popular and even inspiring. Within the Zodiac, Leo is opposite Aquarius, the Sign of Friends. Leo tends to be about self and personal popularity rather than group goals and sharing of ideas. Despite their tendency to patronizingly interfere in others' plans, they are leaders, confident and dignified.
Leo is ruled by the Sun. In ancient times, the Sun was believed to be the center of the Universe, the core of existence, the Father. Today, the Sun is important because it generates warmth and keeps life on Earth moving. Leos, too, sometimes feel they are the center of the universe, and sometimes they are! They are gregarious and social, fun-loving, and live life with enthusiasm. Despite their tendency toward bossiness and pretention, the natural leadership of people born under Leo and their administrative prowess helps ensure that their projects are successful. As leaders, Leos are decisive and direct, optimistic that they will succeed. Sometimes they exaggerate problems and overreact to stumbling blocks, but generally they are positive and their natural pride and stubborn streak keep them from giving up. They can be demanding leaders, but they are also generous.
The Element associated with Leo is Fire. Fire Signs are physical: they tend to respond to the world through action, rather than practicality, intellect, or emotion. Leos jump headfirst into life, without worrying whether their latest goal is realistic or practical. For them, everything about life is Big with a capital B, and if drama and courage is required to do what they want to do, they have both in abundance. Like Fire, Leos are always moving and quick, and their warm-hearted and outgoing personalities are similarly fiery. They tend to seek power more than other Signs, and because of this people sometimes feel they are obnoxious, boastful, self-centered, or rude. But despite their sometimes hotheaded or cutting response, Leos are cheerful and self-assured, sometimes to the point of living in a fantasy world. They are always happy as long as someone is paying attention to them!
Leo rules the fifth House, which besides romance and children also involves gambling. Many Leos love to gamble, and may be brash and extravagant at the gaming table. They see it as their natural due when casinos treat them as royalty! Pleasure is important to people born under Leo, and they like to spend money to feel good. At their extreme, some Leos can be vain and childish or overbearing in their reactions, but generally they're happy so long as they are comfortable.
In their leisure time, Leos prefer to play in groups rather than solo. They are too gregarious to enjoy solitary running or weight lifting, and they much prefer team sports or group exercise. In love relationships, Leo tops the charts in almost every area, from devotion to romance.
Leo rules the back, spine, and heart. People born under Leo may suffer from heart problems or back pain more often than people born under other Signs. Leo's colors are gold and purple: gold is the color of the Sun and lions, and purple is associated with royalty.
The great strength of the Leo-born is in their creativity and generosity with others. Sometimes these two can combine, resulting in thoughtful gifts or unique solutions to problems. Their creative and theatrical natures make them among the most flamboyant characters of the Zodiac.

Aries!! Yay! April 17th. :) I got this one from a friend. On a chainmail...which I hate!
ARIES - The Daredevil (Mar 21 - Apr 19)
Energetic. Adventurous and spontaneous. Confident and enthusicastic. Loves a challenge. EXTREMELY impatient Some times selfish Short fuse. Lively, passionate, sharp wit. Outgoing Loses interest quickly, easily bored. Egotistical Courageous and assertive. Tends to be physical and
Well, I'm not impatient, selfish, short fused, or easily bored. I can find the weirdest things to entertain myself with! But otherwise, completely true. :D Well, except for Egotistical. I don't even know what that means!
This one I got from sofemine.co.uk
You have a mysterious and determined personality. You like listening to and supporting others. You have a compelling character, although not apparent at first hand. You like working with others and seconding them. Solitary action isn't your thing. You're very good at making people feel welcome. Your understanding of other people makes you very popular amongst your friends and family. Patient and benevolent, you have a gift for creating community, so follow things up...
Yeah, true. Compelling...in a good way!!!!!!!

February 18th here, which means I'm on the cusp. Most books put me under Aquarius, but some say Pisces. Personally I find I fit the Aquarius personality a lot more, and I'll usually read the Aquarius horoscope even if the particular book says otherwise.

Does anyone feel that their Zodiac Sign really does reflect their personality even before they knew about this obsession that some people like me have? I really was like the Leo: headstrong, charismatic, etc. You, just the pain child for a parents to raise (God bless them!).

I'm a Sagittarius.
SAGITTARIUS SUN : Short-tempered, spoils, reliable, rich, obstinate, respected by all, happy, popular, religious, wealthy, musician.
Freedom loving, idealist, unfettered by "small thinking"; inspiration; religion, philosophy, the law; awareness of your connections to the rest of the world; can be distant from others, afraid to give up freedom, reluctant to be tied down; on the other hand, aware of the value of the social contract; enthusiastic, gregarious, generous; loves abstract, theoretical ideas, sees the big picture, ignores the details; in love with an ideal; foreign travel, liberating experiences.
General character: Sagittarius (the archer) is optimistic and full of life. You are adventurous, energised and an extrovert. You continue to have a positive outlook even when your ideas are put down. You are always on the side of the underdog. You have good judgment and enjoy starting projects. You have a nagging need to feel free, which can get you into trouble. You also tend to be impatient.
Physical Fetaures: People born under the sign of Sagittarius usually have a large and well-shaped skull, a high, broad forehead, a slender and well formed figure. They stand high and walk high like a Centaur. They have the tendency to stoop or slouch as if grazing for grass. Sagittarius governs the hips, thighs and sacral area; some astrologers consider Sagittarians as tending to suffer from ailments of the hips and thighs and being prone to sciatica.
Watch for the wide-bridged nose with the ball on the tip. Also note the large domed head, the long neck and the wide jaw that narrows quickly to a blunt and angled chin. Other features include the broad horsey teeth and the unmistakable sparkling eyes. Appropriately, many of these creatures are fond of pony tails.
I got it form here (http://www.zodiac-signs-meanings.com/sagittarius-zodiac-sign.html)
Not quite sure about the Physical Features (look they spelled it wrong:biglaugh:lol)

One of my best friends is a Sagittarius! :spin2:
Forgive me, but astrology is a sort of fascination of mine.
I'm a Taurus. I really enjoy being one! I can certainly admit to being stubborn and slow-moving at times (moving at my own pace, as I prefer to say). I also really love people and the beauty of nature. Taurus is ruled by Venus, which, in and of itself, says a lot about most of us born under that sign.
However, sun signs (based solely off of the day that you're born) are not enough to really get a good picture of who a person is. I always make this argument; if you feel that astrology has got you all wrong, you just aren't looking closely enough. Everyone has moon, mercury, venus, etc. signs that say something about them. I'd say that the moon sign is really the second most important sign after the sun sign, as it is often considered to be a person at their deepest level. Mercury is how you process thoughts, and Venus is how you love, for example.
Moon signs are really, really cool. My moon sign is Scorpio, and I feel that it defines me perhaps more than my sun sign does in key ways.
At the risk of sounding like some crazed gypsy lady, I'll shut up now. I just think everyone should check it out; looking more closely at astrology helped me understand myself a lot better. :ohappy:

My birthday is May 21, therefore, I was born on the cusp between Gemini and Taurus. Some sources tell me I'm a Gemini, others, a Taurus. I've never put much stock in zodiac signs, but people tell me I possess qualities related to both, for example: stubbornness, quick wit, creativity, a short temper, communication skills, and loyalty. So, I suppose if you take traits from both signs and mash them together, you'd have a pretty good idea of what I'm like as a person.
