I was just curious. Has anyone else heard of Children of Eden, which i believe wrote Wicked as well. I'm not sure. I can't find my script :(

The first Act is about Adam and Eve, while the Second act is about Noah and the Ark. Its a musical lol. Both acts provide a twist and expansion from the traditional Genesis book (from the Bible). It pretty much just takes the bare threads of it and weaves a new and exciting tale. I want to explain so much but it'll give away soo much too lmao.

I just recently acquired the soundtrack to Children of Eden, although I was introduced to the music at least in passing during seventh grade, when the cast of the musical from the high school I eventually ended up attending came to my elementary school for a recruiting afternoon, then again during my freshman year of high school when our choir performed "In the Beginning" for our spring concert.

This past Thanksgiving, I went back to my high school to participate in a revue featuring alumni, and we performed the song "Children of Eden" as our first-act finale. I completely fell in love with the beauty of the song, and knew that I had to find and purchase the soundtrack. (Of course, it could have had something to do with the fact that I was back with a group of incredible performers, friends I haven't seen in about a year, too.)

But yeah, I love it. And it was indeed written by Stephen Schwartz, the composer/lyricist for Wicked, as well as Pippin. There are so many incredible melodies, and positively beautiful songs. I definitely wouldn't mind performing in it one day -- I'd love to play either Eve or Yonah.

A local theater Swift Creek Mills did the show and it was really good. It was interesting to see how the deal with the nude idea. There was this small group of children that watched it, and they completely enjoyed it. The were so happy to see what the learned in school put on stage.
