Appearance: Lelia hovers just south of 5'8 and has blonde hair that hits around shoulder length. Her eyes are green but can look almost hazel at times. She is plain, but not unpleasantly so, with a clear complexion and lightly tanned skin. She likes to keep herself looking clean; you won't see her for long if she's having a bad hair day. Her celebrity look a like is Kaley Cuoco.
Personality:Lelia is a controlled outgoing but sometimes she gets herself into trouble for running her mouth and saying what's on her mind. She excels at verbal sparring but if it gets into anything physical she'll pretty much lose. She is modest and believes in the sacrament of marriage along with the idea that the union between a man and a woman should not be anytime before marriage which other dancers sometimes tease her for but, at least in her mind, they respect her for her strength in character.
She is a bit of a romantic and believes firmly that her soul mate is out there somewhere and that she just hasn't found him yet and also in love at first sight. She has had previous relationships and has a mixture of explosive breakups and "fizzles out quietly" breakups in her past. Currently, the Lelia described doesn't exist, she's more anxious and if she's working on a show currently her mood is not a sure thing.
History: Lelia was born to a French father and an Italian mother, who had met when her father did some renovations in La Scala. At the time, her mother was a seamstress there and worked in the part of the building being renovated. Lelia is the oldest of 3: she has a younger sister, Adele, and a younger brother named Pablo. They moved to Paris because of Lelia's father's job.
Her mother taught her how to sew since Lelia insisted she wanted to be a part of the performances in some way. Eventually, her parents split up because her father preferred Italy but her mother didn't want to leave France would not uproot his job in France to move there. Lelia stayed with her mother and her father and the other two siblings went to Italy.
Eventually, Lelia got a job at the Opera Populaire as a seamstress and Lelia struck a deal with the Opera managers so that she can dance in performances but she'll also sew all of the costumes needed and would be paid as a dancer. She burns the candle at both ends so she can have her dream of being onstage.
