Her father died when she was 1 year old of cancer and her mother quickly followed; not being able to cope with the death of her husband she took her life. An old aunt and her daughter took Amaranth in their house and raised her until she was 15 years old. At her 16th birthday, her aunt had already died and she was on her way to London, alone. She was a good singer so she decided to try her luck in a musical… she had luck and won the role.
