Having attended many private institutions, he was very isolated from the greater problems of the world beyond his own privileged atmosphere, and was eventually sent by his parents to study internationally so as to gain experience for his eventual future as a family partner. What he saw on his studies, however, changed him and his opinions. Since then he has lost his professional focus. Dwindling away his time in various academic courses, he eventually traveled to Paris to absorb culture and sophistication. He plans on returning to New York and claiming his birthright with his father, as well as fulfilling the image of an aristocrat for his family.
