History: Rebecca Chapmen was born in North Carolina and lived there for most of her childhood. Her parents, Beth Chapmen and Tom Chapmen, were the parents anyone could ask for even though they were fairly strict. They lived in a very nice and quiet neighborhood where everyone would talk to each other and look after one another. This all changed when her father got a job offer from Europe. He accepted it immediately despite the protests from Rebecca. For Rebecca it was hard to say goodbye to her friends but it had to be done.
Rebecca and her family finally arrived at France and occupied a medium sized home near where her father worked. She was usually home by herself after as her father and mother work late and when they came home they would spend a few minutes with each other and then she would have to go to bed. At school, she would get teased at and get bullied by the other children and even though the teachers would tell them to stop, they continued.
When she came home one day after school at the age of 13, she found police cars surrounding her house. She ran towards the door and was about to go inside but an officer grabbed her from behind and told her she was not allowed in there. At the police station, she found out her parents had been murder and she was going to be put in foster care. She sat there, staring blankly at the floor, until she cried herself to sleep. The next morning, her foster parents came in and took her to there house. The house wasn’t too big but it wasn’t too small and her foster parents were nice but very strict.
The next 3 years were nice but not like her childhood. She moved out to be on her own at the age of 16. She went around France, training in many fields but especially mechanics. While in Paris, she walked past the Opera house and saw they needed some stagehands. Thinking this was a good idea for a job and a place to live, she quickly walked into the Opera house and got the job even though there were speculations if she could handle the work or not.
