Hey, anybody who has ever loved and lost (like our beloved Erik *sniff*) or knows the heartache of unrequited love, post your best break-up songs ever; you know the ones that can be toment or a balm to your hurting soul just following a rough break-up.

Melissa Ethridge's "Skin" album. The whole thing. As memory serves this was the album she wrote after she and her girlfriend of like 10+ years broke up (don't quote me on that it's been like 6 years since I heard that).

I bought it after a breakup in college and each and every song there from "Lover Please" to "Heal Me" became my favorite in turn as I worked my way through it. It's actually quite excellent for plotting the evolution of a healing after a break up.
