My friend gave me a My Chemical Romance CD, and i haven't listened to it much. Does anyone else listen to MCR and should i start listening to it? The only song i actually listened to all was I'm Not Okay (I Promise). It's harder rock then i usually listen to, and i can't listen to it on my headphones, because it's too loud.
That's how my friend tried to make me feel better last year. Gave me a CD with really loud, pounding music. Got to love her though.

I've only listened to 'Helena'. I liked listening to it, but I can't listen to it very often. D:

I've only heard the broadcasted songs (which are of course: Helena and I'm Not Okay (I Promise)) and I just love them. I almost bought the CD but I went for the two disk Foo Fighters ' album, "In Your Honor". I'm a rock fanatic, so I'm thinking of getting the MCR CD. Syio, do you have it? Do you recommend it or should I just download (LEGALY, SILLY PEOPLE WHO RUIN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY!) the songs?

It's somewhere in my CD collection. I listen to it when I'm in a bad mood and need to scream as loudly as possible. I've listened to it more lately, because my sister has decided it's so much fun to sleep in my bed (We have bunkbeds, and I'm clumsy in the mornings and can't get out of bed if I'm on the top.) So I've been sleeping on the couch. It's actually a loveseat. So I've been listening to it loudly to get out my anger

I like Helena and I'm Not Okay (the only ones I've heard)...but the lead singer definately freaks me out when I watch the music videos!

I don't watch many music videos anymoer, they scare me.
I've been listening to it a bit more, but it still makes my head hurt. I like softer, quieter songs. They are not exactly soft.

I just recently bought the cd Three Chears for Sweet Revenge. The first ever song I heard from them was Demolition Lovers. After hearing that I fell in love with MCR and started to try to find some new songs by them. I finally found Helena and then went off and got the video for my computer.
Now that I have the cd I'm in love with it. They're pretty heavy but I like that type of music. I can't help it. It helps when I'm angry or upset.

I've got Three Cheers for Sweet Revnge which is a fantastic CD!
I can't stop listening to 'Ghost of You' at the moment...
The first song I heard was 'Do You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison?' and I really liked that, so I went and bought the album.
I love listening to the music, and, it's obviously helped the lead singer (Gerard) through hard times.

I love MCR! It is really good mood music XD. Sometimes I can play that cd for an entire week straight, then I have to switch off, but then it goes on again.
When I first moved into the new house that cd, and two others (Piller, and Skillet) were the only music I listened to. It does wonders for a troubled mind XD.

My tastes in music have changed drastically, obviously, since I was reading over this and noticed that I said I didn't care for MCR because they're too hard and loud. That's no longer true. I really love MCR now.
In their new CD, I actually like almost all of the songs, but my favorites are Teenagers, Mama, Cancer and Famous Last Words, although I really like Welcome to the Black Parade too.
In Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, my favorites have to be Helena and In The End.

I completly agree with you about the favorite songs. I love those songs. *hums "When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to see a marching band..."* This guy sang Cancer for our school talent show (which I was in),he was actually quite good.

I've been listening to the MCR CD I got for my B-day obsessively for awhile. I feel bad for my POTO music:(. Well I'm giving both love now. *huggles music* I love "This is how I disappear"(Hope that was right) and "The Sharpest Lives" You wana know something weird? Most of their songs remind me of Erik. I swear some of them I've put pics of POTO in my mind and made little music videos in my brain. Oh well one of those weird things in life I guess. Now I want to listen to some of their music but I'm really enjoying watching the 2004 POTO movie right now too. *thinks* I think I'll keep watching POTO I'm going to see it on stage tommorow with front row seats so lets get my obsession as high as possible right now.

MCR is one of the groups that I always tell myself to start listening, but then once it gets to mind, I forget! I will remember to actually listen to their music, but I've heard one of their songs but I just can't remember the words or the lyrics. :D

This is weird, but I love MCR and I don't own an actual CD of theirs. A few years back (one? two?) a good friend of mine burned all the My Chemical Romance stuff off her computer to two CDs and gave them to me. I love it! Favorites include: "Teenagers" "Sharpest Lives" "Ghost of You" and "The Jetset Life is Going to Kill You". Wish I knew more people who are really into them beyond "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "Helena", but it's whatever. I recommend giving them a shot. s
