Hi everyone!
I am currently writing a new fiction set mostly in New York, (but the only place I've ever been is JFK airport :)), and need help about warehouse conversions circa 1990-1995 for an art gallery.
I.e. the warehouse was built circa 1906 1907 but to be converted in the 1990s.
What is a good area for this timeframe?
SoHo and TriBeCa seem too 1970ish, but I’m not familiar with anywhere else suitable. Maybe Williamsburg, but don't like the idea there is a nuclear clean-up facility there according to Wikipedia.:eek3:
I would appreciate some help for anyone familiar with NYC!
