Kypton is, to put it simply, unique. After living on his own for the past thirteen years he is surprisingly laid back and relaxed when it comes to interacting with people. His smile comes easily yet he is rather opinionated though at the same time respectful and considerate of the opinions of others. This humble wanderer is in a word, brilliant and anyone who gets a chance to talk to him will realize just how smart he is. Though he has the voice of an angel the last thing he wants to do is sing. In truth all he really wants to do is be an inventor and have people use the things he makes. He writes his own songs and sings on the street corner for money but he never want that part of him to be known around the world. He wants to be known as Kip the inventor, not Kip the singer. Yet in a city full of some of the best singers in the world even Kypton can't ignore the fact that he has talent and potential.. who knows maybe he'll take the path he turned away from long ago.. and be that singer the for so many reasons.. he doesn't want to be.

I'm looking forward to Kypton meeting any or all of my guys, but we need to find a place. Golden is on his own at the Eiffel Tower after parting ways with Mark Blaze. Should he be in the vicinity of the cemetery, he might hear Easy playing violin though that's not the only place he does that publicly. He also sits outside the church occasionally, having entered it but once. I also imagine that Raven would find him intriguing, as he tends to be on the lookout for ideas for stories and characters.

Easy might be the most reliable one, having lived on the streets himself.

So I started the Kypton/Easy role play for us in the cemetery, hope that's okay with you Cyn. I was bored and had nothing to do plus I'd been listening to Josh Groban songs all day to inspire my muse and so he was pretty active. Anyway can't wait to see how Easy/Kypton scene plays out. Loving all my scenes that Kypton is involved in right now... thanks a bunch everyone who is role playing with my new character and helping me break him in. Hope you all like him.

Easy isn't really being a brat at the cemetery. He's just had too much happen to him~practically all of it bad. Kip is sort of taking the backlash, poor guy! I didn't realize this was going to happen and was thinking what terrible timing it is for them to meet though it could prevent Easy from trying yet again. His busy schedule was trying enough, but when all of these changes occurred then he witnessed what happened (will happen?) at the Massquerade, I think it would push him so that he is teetering on the edge.

Will Kypton get through to the very trouble Easy? I hope so!

I'd enjoy having Golden and/or Raven meet Kip also. Golden would stop to listen, take photos, and leave a big tip, as he's accustomed to street performers. He's been known to burst into song and occasionally dance though not with the goal of making money. Raven might consider basing a character on him, very much as R.A. McAvoy did with Pierre Bensusan in her Trio for Lute/Damiano Trilogy. He'd like the inventor part especially because he has dabbled.

Though Rachel has only just meet him he seems like an interring kind of guy. The question is what's he going to be like with Angel?

I apologize for Easy being such a pain! At that point in time, he's in such a bad place that he is very nearly on his worst behavior. I understand if it's been difficult to post there. I thought perhaps you might be busy at the Masquerade.

I'm looking forward to their continuing word-battle~though it's been a subdued one so far. He has gotten Easy talking, and Easy is opening up about his past, even if it's to chase the man away. I'm wondering where these two are going to wind up. Will there be friendship? Will Kip be invited to Sanctuary at some time? At the moment, I can't until I find out where the Devlon story is headed.

I hate to double post, but I thought I'd like to respond to your PM here:

If you'd like to have Kip say something to stop him, that would be OK. That happened at Franconi's Stables with Cara; Easy was leaving, but Cara spoke up again, making him pause. Easy's outburst surprised me AND him obviously, as we're not used to him doing something like that. He rarely acts out, striking out or destroying something. I think that he's on the edge in a lot of ways. I really do hate when he gets this unpredictable. For a while, he was doing fairly well. But, when Pyro said that Iah would be leaving, too, then I heard about Lazare being withdrawn from TPO, I knew that I would have to deal with what all of these losses did to him. The orchestra wasn't his goal, and there have been remarks about him in posts. It's reasonable to assume that he would overhear them and/or see the looks he receives. He has said that it reminds him of being the new boy at school, which was never a good thing.

I'd like to see these two get to something like friendship. I wonder what that would take. Hmmm...

I hope to do that opening post at Chanel as soon as I close here.

Well we could always end the scene with your post and then we can start a different scene somewhere else. Kypton at this point would probably just let him go seeing him as a lost cause. My muse seems to be very decided when it comes to his opinions and impressions about people and right now he doesn't have the best impression about Easy but hopefully that will change soon. Hmmm... so if it's okay with you we can try and different scene somewhere else and hope that Easy's in a slightly better mood... what do you say? I can start it we just have to decide on a place and what not.

That would be OK. Easy will go get himself drenched and perhaps head back to Sanctuary. Or, maybe this is the evening that he went to Nothing Special and ended up in bed with Madeleine. I thought it might be a setup for his troubled mind at the bar.

Oh! Raven and Kip seem off to a rough start! Raven was planning to listen to some music but got barked at instead, which reminded me of his first meeting with Evea Perry at Brentano's. He didn't run away at least, just made an exit. I'm sure that he was completely confused about why he, as a bystander, was singled out for the attack, especially because he is dressed so casually. Poor Raven: Just when he had convinced himself to get out into the world more...

Actually, I had pictured that quite differently. I had thought that, if Raven found him intriguing, he would invite Kip to The Rookery, where there would be a bath, shaving, food, and someplace to sleep, as I'm sure they could make the couch comfy. All furniture Raven owns must be comfy! Most of it looks Victorian or earlier. If you're curious, check out Raven's home in the 18th District.

Well I'm hoping that Kypton (being the normally polite sweet muse that he is) will make up for it. He has his moments I guess.. but don't we all right? I'm still learning about him and am intrigued by some of the surprises I get from him while role playing.. hopefully we can still do that.. I think Kypton would very much enjoy a chance to shave ;)

As for Easy/Kypton did we have an idea where we could do our next scene?

Ella loves her new nickname and thinks Kip is a breath of fresh air in her....awkward life. She didn't really know how to take a joke before, but she's getting there. Sadly she's thinking about her nickname...she doesn't understand exactly how....she ended up liking it. (she just needs a reason for everything). And yes I found something else that is "killing" me...my curiosity in where this all will go :) I love how you took Josh and just twisted him into someone that completely contradicts who he is as a willing performer to an aspiring architect. I love it, love it, love it, love it! You play one kick butt character! I have yet to meet the rest ;)

You should meet the rest of my boys. They like to play just as much as Kypton. Calvin is pretty hyped up right now though Talin kind of needs to get out there too.... take your pick :) and thanks for the comments... both Kypton and I appreciate it. I'm still working on who he is as a character though. It should be interesting to see where all his story lines take him since he's been offered financial security by some friends for both his music and his inventions... stay tuned, big changes are about to come :)

Started the scene in the Boutique... hope you enjoy it. I have a couple of ideas for Kip and Ella but I'll run them by you later once you're done with all your camping trips and what not. Hopefully you don't get eaten alive.. that would make me very sad :( can't wait for our next scene!

So I'm randomly going to drop by...and guess what! I just made a new friend with the newest 10th grader at school. So apparently he wants to call me Ella...because I look like one. He thought I was Ellana so he just started talking to me calling me by the name Ella. So weird. That obviously made me laugh. How is this relevant? Well I want to say that I love how Kip's mind runs...where did he get such a name out of Gabrielle...well I know where, but I mean...I personally don't get nicknames out of the ending of names...that's just me :)

Basically, I love Kip, two, I love our scenes, and three...I'm workinn on a scene with Lori...eventually by tomorrow! FRIDAY!

That is rather interesting. Don't worry I have a select few friends that call me Bones which both annoys me and amuses me at the same time, I tend not to answer to it but they say I will eventually.

I saw your post for Lori in the courtyards and I will definitely be following that scene. I'm glad you like Kypton... it's always very rewarding when other people really like your characters especially because I always worry about that when I bring them on to the boards.

The song is When You Say You Love Me by Josh Groban, it's one of my personal favorites though it is not as well known as some of the others either.

I look forward to future scenes with Ella and eventually a three way scene with Ella/Kypton/Demi... drama drama.

Although Easy and Raven both had meetings with Kypton that did not go smoothly, I'd love Golden to meet him, as he definitely is my sunniest-natured guy. Maybe we can set up a place where they can run into each other.

Easy is working on paying back his "patrons", so he has become an occasional street performer, something he has been doing since he made progress with the violin. But, he never tried for tips. So, perhaps the two will meet again. I hope Easy won't be as chip-on-shoulder, as he has been trying to work through his problems, figuring out what he does/doesn't want to do. Maybe they'll have a sociable encounter sometime.

Raven might shy away, but he undoubtedly would welcome another encounter now that Kip knows who he is, that he's not an agent or someone working for a company.

I would love to do another scene with any of your guys except I'm so busy that I couldn't possibly do all three. Since I haven't role played with Golden that much I think we should give that scene a shot. Just let me know where you are free and we can work it out.

I have these open for my three guys and would be willing to try Easy and Raven again. Easy is settling into some schedules and isn't teetering as much as he was before. Raven seems to be getting the hang of being more sociable and would be less likely to retreat.

Golden and Kypton seem to be off to a good start. Golden is so amiable and open with people that I don't foresee any problems. He's made friends around the globe and generally is rather easy to get along with.

Will Easy and Kip ever meet again? Easy presently is talking to Gabrielle in the Foyer, and they've discovered that they're both in the orchestra. Will they become friends? Will Kip's name be mentioned at some point~perhaps at a later meeting? Naturally, Easy is no competition. He'd be a safe friend for Gabrielle, who sounds as if she, too, has problems with fellow members of the orchestra.

On the OOC thread, you said that Kypton might like to accompany Gabrielle to Sanctuary. That would be OK with me. We could set that up in the Bistro scene, as Easy has broached the subject of having violins at Sanctuary, one of which Gabrielle could rent.

After the Gabrielle/Kypton scene is done, perhaps we can have Calvin and Parker visit.

Coincidently that's what my cousin wants to do for Josh, but he was voted in People's batch so....she's a tad bit too late...so she's weird. She added the video from youtube to my iPod and I can't take it off....(sooooo weird that I can't delete it...I'm a tech savvy..sorta.) Anywho...

Well I'm glad that you enjoy him so much. It's always rewarding to find out that someone loves your character almost as much as you do. I just wanted to drop by to say that the Kip/Kat post shall be up and running by this afternoon cause I couldn't sleep at like midnight so instead of counting sheep like a normal person I pulled up notepad and typed like a madman.
