I'm from the original south! I live in virginia, about an hour away from Richmond (the capital of the confederate). And my town is also where a minor battle took place! *Kicks out all of the northerners on this board* Hehe, just kidding. I am not that prejudice but I do prefer the southern way of doing things.

I just finished reading Gone With The Wind, so I definitely sympathize with the South... I never really cared about the Civil War til I read that, and now I knida have to root for the South, there were a lot of things that infuriated me about the North in those days...

That being said, I harbor no ill-will to anyone from the North (I have a good number of Yankee friends and family), what's in the past is in the past- it's just that after reading GWTW... well, it's hard to believe that brothers could do that to each other- that people could hate each other just because of where they were born...

It's a very good read, and it really changes your thinking about the war... Again, I love my buddies in the North, I just think that there could have been a lot of trouble saved if the South could have seceeded peacefully... There was honestly no reason for the war...

Shoot, I probably better shut up before I dig my own grave and start the second civil war :)
