Now I wasn't sure whetehr to post this hear or write when you click "The Work of a Genius" but I thought since it was directed in writing I decided to post it here.

But have any of you guys ever published a book? Do you have a family member who has published a book? What's it called and what's it about?

My aunt publiushed a poem book but thats about all. I, honestly, write horribly and will get punjabbed for even trying so... what about you guys?

Like your aunt I write poems and through a contest I had one that I wrote for my grandfather after he died published. After that things seemed to sour for me and I had a few more or my poems published winning awards with my first one.

I however look for more publishers here so that I may someday get my work out there.

It's so cool to see the end result.

My uncle is in the process of finishing up a final draft of a novel. The first draft was very good, and I've yet to read the second draft. But, I bet you it'll be awesomer. :) It's a fantasy story, and it very interesting.

As for me, I've never published a book for the public, but I've written a Star Wars book, with all of my friends as main characters. I printed that out, and now almost every family in my town that I know has a copy. I'm currently writing a fantasy story along the lines of Ella Enchanted.

My good friend Rachel, is has written four books, a series, and is working on getting them published. I have a copy of like her first fifteen chapters in fact, I'm gonna start a recognition thread for her. I'm gonna do it now!!
