Tis' really difficult to say if Rachel Day is what you classify as 'normal'. But then again, what's normal anyway, right? See, while other kids breathed oxygen, drank H2O, and slept soundly in their beds- Rachel was extremely busy, breathing, drinking, and sleeping theatre! From the moment she was just an embryo, she was souly destined to be a theatrical actress! Her mother was even on Broadway, so it was perfect! It would be following in her mother's foosteps. Her father, she never knew, but that was certainly alright! It would be one of the sad moments on her True Hollywood Story, & trust her, the bios that don't have those, are just so boring! So it was just her and her mother in a small loft in NYC in upstate Manhattan. Her mother taught Rachel everything she knew about theatre, gave her lessons, and took her to every show she possibly could. Without a doubt, the best shows were the ones her mother was in. Rachel knew that one day, it would be her up there! Valedvictorian of her class, Rachel pretty much had all access to any colleges of her choice. But she didn't want them. She wanted to attend an all theatre school, & one of the best, & the most prestigious! Unfortunately, none of the schools accepted her. Well, some did. But not Julliard. Thus, Rachel found herself in an artistic depression, taking a vow of silence for an entire two days. Thinking that she could skip education, she went on to audition for shows. The casting said she was 'good', but not her mother. That's when Rachel knew. She knew she needed to get out of New York, and a start a name by herself, away from her mother's light.

That's when she found herself here in Paris! Gracing everyone with her undiscovered talent presence. But that's okay, they'll soon find out!
Just, um, right after she gets their coffee.

Rachel Day Talks to Irked Writer:

Mmkay, so here is the problem as I see it. I feel like, you are trying to go for this ginormous movie magic type of everything in every scene, & that just cannot happen in each scene. Surely, it is great for tons of things! But, I feel like so much has happened, that every little scene that occurs, or every argument- doesn't need to be this extravagent action-packed sequence. My voice is very much alive, my love for Broadway remains, and everything about me is the same- except ... I'm growing up. I feel like you're becoming too hard on yourself, because of that fact too. Every sentence, does not need to be smothered in Rachel Day isms, because everything about that post, is me. Characters grow up. It is okay to allow them too! I mean, my goodness, my life is changing! I'm changing! I think though, that I need to begin to focus more on my art; my goal in life. Sure, being at the Rouge is great, but I need to become ... obsessed. Maybe it isn't the right way to be, but I think adding that to my plot, of becoming obsessed with rehearsing & such- would add, and bring back to who I really am. It might be very much that new movie- Black Swan or something, (although you have not seen it yet!) But, it would be interesting, and very realistic. I think you need to add more of what we do as performers. You obsess to the max, so add that to me! I think by now, that my father mofian plot is over, you'll have more time to focus on that too. I think Santiago & I need to begin doing more couple things, instead of each scene, you searching for some huge happenstance. & I understand that you are just trying to make every scene and every moment count, and want to bring interesting new, unique ideas to the board, but this is my life. I kinda' just want to go back to singing Joseph in the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on laundry day, and practicing my expression faces in the mirror. I love Santiago, and I think that some scenes need to be more comfortable, relaxed with him. As for the next plot, I think we need to dive into the obsession of how performers get, & how damaging it can possibly be- but also how rewarding. I think it's time for that aspect of my life, to finally almost come full circle slightly more than it is. I want to focus on my art, on Santiago & making things just become more relaxing for us, & my friends! I think if you want to have a suspense/action packed moment, that the prime focus should be on either Myron, Madeleine, or Santiago for the time being. Ultimately, you should just relax! Every post titled 'Rachel Day' is me, so there is no possible way you can get me wrong! No one knows me more than you. You're writing is becoming tense, because you're so worried about it.

So relax :)
