Hey, everyone! This is a project I did for Graphics class during the past school year. We each had to make a DVD cover for the movie, TV show, or video game of our choice. I think you can guess which one I chose. :D So, without further ado, here it is!

Cool, James, I really liked the cover, with the Phantom/Christine drawing. How'd you do that art?

Thank you all for your wonderful comments! To create this, I used Adobe Illustrator CS. I basically just traced promotional images from the film. The biggest problem was that I had to trace every part separately; otherwise, it would all just be one color. I wanted to add a chandelier somewhere, but didn't have enough time. I don't have the program at home, so I could only work on it on the school computers. :D
Oh, and to answer Sadako's question... I couldn't find a shade of brown that would look good and realistic, so I used a gold/brown gradient. :)

That's really good. It's as good as the actual DVD cover. The fact that it sounds so professional is really a plus for it.
I really like it. You should do more, even if it's not for an assignment.

Thank you! My dad has bought Adobe Illustrator, so I can finally have a chance to try it at home! I think I'll attempt a cover for the Leroux or Susan Kay versions next. (As in, what if they actually made a film version?) :D
