Good Evening! My name, is Niicole Winter.
I'm here, to hopefully tell stories... I can say, quite honestly that I have never gotten into Role Playing, until I heard about it recently while surfing the web the other night...
I thought to myself, "It sounds interesting enough... But, what story do I love enough, to become a completely different person in that world? And, goodness, what story do I know well enough to do so?"
The Phantom of the Opera. It was the clearest answer in my head, and I decided that when I had the time, I would research into it.
This lovely site, was the first to pop up, so I took the step and decided to give it a go!
I would love some tips on how to start role playing, and i'm sure all of you know much more then I on that matter.

Hello and welcome to the site. My names Natalia but everyone calls me witch.
I got into RP myself as I was pretty much a loner at school and the logical side of my brain has always given me trouble so my spelling, grammar and math are rather hopeless.
I have been RPing now for years and have been helping younger members on other forums I belonged to get into it as well.

Here are my tips:

* Write up a character that you can REALLY relate to.

(each character of mine holds a little of myself in them)

* To start off find another character that you can relate to. Think of how the two characters relationship will grow.

* Planning ahead (Simply don't)
While you can plan ahead with RP's you never know how things are going to add up. I can't tell you how many times the plots I've had in my head have changed as I got writing with other people.

The really great thing about this site is that everyone is willing and wanting to help. The first thing to do is to write up your character then ask someone to do a thread with you (You can even ask me if you'd like) then just start writing.

Don't second guess yourself as you may just find that it eats you up and makes you question every move.
