I've not created an OOC in years so the opportunity to create one I've jumped at. :D Not a very creative title I had no appropriate quotes to add.

I apologize to those I owe posts too. I can only manage about one post a day during the working week. Then come Saturday I'll be online all day to tackle the rest. Please bear with me.

UGH I'm incorrigible, I'm 3/4 done with that dressing room post. I really should start getting ready for class though. Decisions decisions! I wrote the last part of that post so I wouldn't forget what I wanted Rozaliya to say; now I just have to fill in her reaction to what Aurrie said to her. And I owe Cyn a post! Hopefully I'll get that done today too. I have two papers to write but they're only supposed to be a page and a half or two max.

I have some drama one again starting to cook up and I LOVE it. Though I can't help but feel sorry for Marina though I do have a choice of two twists there that have been playing around in my head.

Cara's life seems to have settled (which is a first) and she may be forming a new FEMALE FRIENDSHIP... WOW.

Anyways... I'm always looking for new threads and dramas so if anyone would like to P.M me for a thread.

Lashell's back and a few drama's could be in the works there.

Hey guys! I just posted for Mysti at the Seine and I still need to work on my reply to Cara/Tess at the Gardens. The semester is winding down (thankfully!) and all I have is two classes tomorrow, and then an exam on Tuesday and two on Thursday (sort of. One is a graded performance for my Theatre: Voice and Diction class so I don't really count that as an exam) with nothing in between them so if you want a scene, hit me up because I have more time on my hands now! I'm plotting some stuff with Mysti at the movie theatre but that's it.

I died a little inside with that last Aurrie post. My heart is broken for the moment.

I know I said before that Aurrie was going to be angry at everyone now, but right now I just feel like he'd be sad. I guess I'll need a few post-Roza scenes with someone else to really get an idea of how Aurrie feels right now.

I know that it's gonna happen, but when Aurrie is sad I am sad. When they finally get together, I'll be over the moon.

Lori - I miss our old Aurrie/Lorel scenes too. Aurrie always thought Lorel was the perfect girl to settle down with, and was very reluctant to let her go. He still hates whatshisname for taking her away.
I don't know how we could do a distance thing with Lorel, maybe a letter about how his son is doing, I dunno. I think it would be awkward its been so long and they didn't leave on good terms either. We can try and work something out.

Otherwise lets just have MORE CHRISTIAN/REESE romance. Plot bunnies required.

Ah.... the saga of Aurrie/Lorel and the guy she ended up with. As this all ties in with Aurrie's dark times during the last 5 years, no doubt Aurrie was nasty to Eric and Lorel back then.

Well, Lorel wanted Aurelien to have contact with his son and she wasn't trying to avoid him or anything. She didn't mean to make him feel like she wanted nothing to do with him. Its all super complicated. Kind of a matter of miscommunication it seems like.

Anyhoo, yeah...She could write a letter to him about Elijah, possibly seeing about visiting with him for the holidays, and Roza sees it? It could make for some awesome drama. Its up to you guys of course if you want to go with that. Its just an idea. Let me know what you think!!!

I had the same trouble with some of my sites before. Sometimes it's the sever site being down and other times they are checking the sites.

I'm not sure if this is the problem here but those are mainly the two main courses I've met in the past.

I have terrible news! My laptop went out on me, and it's presently in repairs. They may have to replace the motherboard (Do I have that right?), so it could take some time. This is not the right time for this to happen, especially because of the event and other stories under way! I would have to get to the library, which is where I am now, and they have a one-hour limit, meaning that I'd never get a response completed in time. Now, I can't even get to scenes to handwrite mine for later posting!

Maybe I'll be lucky to be back in a few days. ***knock on wood***

Aww, Mysti, that's awful! My local library has a one-hour limit, too, but you can stay for over an hour if there's no one waiting to use the computer after you. That's no fun that these rules are so strict! I hope they fix your laptop soon so you can be up and running again in no time!

I apologize for my lack of postage over the last few days. Had a rental inspection today so spent the last 3 days cleaning in my free time when not working.

Speaking of work I got offered a permanent position within the company I am currently working for so am now getting all the paperwork organized as they want to run a background check on me. A lot of digging through cupboards and boxes for old important documents.

Ok, so I have a few character ideas ready, but I do have a question (don't shoot me down for not posting in the question thread-it's not too severe).
I noticed that there are quite a few female characters. Are male characters frowned on creating? Or are they ok too?

Male characters are not frowned apon. I myself have two active males and two active females. You can create any kind of homo-sapien your heart desires. I hope that answers your question. Any others you might have feel free to PM me or ask in the the other thread, or even here as its a bit slow lately lol...

So I sit down all excited to do the posts I owe. There are 7 in case anyone thinks I have forgotten them (Sam, Ran, Hollie, and Polly in event. Cyn, Ran, Sam on board.) But while flipping through a few pages to get inspiration for one of said posts I some how get a virus...

An hour and MUCH frustration later I'm good again and can finally get back to where I start back when I had much more hair that hadn't been pulled out... :P

I am SO crazed! I'm STILL waiting for my laptop, as it's supposedly too old (about four years?!) that he had trouble getting parts. It's almost a month! ARRRGH! I WANT TO RP! I finally got my bowed psaltery back after a month in the shop, so maybe the laptop is just around the corner, too, as they bailed on me only a few days apart. Well... I did decide to have the psaltery restrung completely, so it's partly my fault. I simply hated missing the Christmas event and keeping other scenes under steam.

Mom is waiting in the car while I run into the library, but I'm taking the time to read any scenes posted for me. How I wish that I could print out scenes to work on!

EDIT: I am competely astonished! I thought this final message would be completely buried by now and that I would be hugely behind in replies. I FINALLY got my laptop back about noon today, January 26. I am busily cleaning up my mailbox then will try to do some other work online. I, too, have fallen out of the RPing habit, especially becuase of the six weeks in which I didn't have a computer. I DO want to continue stories, including Easy/Rozaliya in the Subway thread, Easy/Jean, Dorian/Demetria, and Golden/Evea & Theresa.

Due to our extremely changeable weather, I'm having trouble typing and even more trouble handwriting. But, I'm determined to catch up in RPing AND in AEing (done in letterwriting).

I apologize for not being around and for not having responses for the posts I owe. FINALLY, my doctor listened to me and increased the dosage of Atenolol, which has my heart much quieter. I'm physically getting stronger because I can sleep even though the flu my mom and I have had caused me to backslide a little.

Please don't give up on me! I do want to continue all of the stories. I'm especially curious about Jean/Easy and Easy meeting Nero.

It looks as if nearly everyone has been busy, so I hope my delay hasn't caused too many problems. I still hate missing the event! *sigh* Perhaps my guys will be around for the next one.

Well, that was short-lived relief and might have just covered something far more dangerous. On Monday morning, I ended up in the Emergency Room and was there for nearly seven hours. To be honest, when I was trying to find a parking place, I was afraid that I was going to wreck the car! I finally parked in front of the receiving door. I could barely see or breathe by that time, and, getting out of the car, I nearly collapsed except for grabbing hold of the door then getting to the hood of the car. Somehow, Mom got me inside. I was on a breathing machine for two long bouts, given steroids, and had tests run. They wanted to hospitalize me, but there were no available rooms. I didn't want to stay in the hospital, especially if someone else might be sent home early. I was able to breathe better, and the doctor prescribed steroids for inflammation and an inhaler. It turns out that the steroids are helping my heart quiet down, not just masking the worst of it.

So, could this mean I can come back to write scenes? I hope so! Before this, my heart would skip beats as my wrists rested on the laptop! I kept having to stop to get back to a regular beat. I tell you, my friends, I have been very afraid. I am not being dramatic when I say that I thought I might die, just as my younger sister did in her sleep in December 2010. It can happen that fast. I lost my father when he was barely 47. But, I'm beginning to feel like a functioning person.

I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to be a regular poster as I was for a while. These have been very difficult months~at least since November~that I've been feeling worse and worse.

But, I'm back! If not tonight, I hope to answer some scenes tomorrow. How I've missed RPing!

Oh Myst! How scary! I'm so glad things are starting to look up. I know how terrifying health issues can be. I'm actually heading to see my doctor in about an hour to have him check on my lungs and heart. I've been having trouble breathing over the past week. So while my health scares aren't as bad as yours, I know where you're coming from! We all hope to see you back soon. :)

And on that note, Hollie, I hope to start on that post I promised you this afternoon once I'm back from the doctor! I MISS AURRIE/ROZA SO MUCH. <3

I didn't mean to disappear again! About the time I thought I was going to be able to start posting, my aunt, who is in her mid-80s, contracted a dangerous infection following surgery on her hip. She has been in quarantine, first at the hospital then at a nursing home. My mom has been trying to be brave about it, but I know she is worried sick about this, as are the rest of us.

Then, on Easter Sunday, my computer went out on me! I'm at the repair shop, where they are kind enough to let me check on emails. I shall be back! I am going to return to RPing as soon as possible. I know everyone must have given up on me, but I'm loving all of the stories we have going! If everyone is busy, too, with life, I certainly understand. I don't know how long they'll have my laptop, but I'll update this message if necessary.

Though the PM exchage has been lovely and VERY intersting, Miss Lashell has not had an official scene with the Doctor since Christmas :'(

Can it be possible that I FINALLY can rely on my laptop?! This is the THIRD replacement motherboard, the previous one having lasted about a day. At least they were under warranty, and the Hofnet people made good, standing behind their work. I've been afraid to try earlier, but I've had a number of excursions on the Net with no problems.

Is anyone interested in any of the stories we have underway? I know it's been a long time, but I am still intrigued by these interactions. Then, there was that meeting-to-be between Nero and Cat. Hmmmmm...

Here's hoping that my PC will continue to behave although the space bar is a real pain. Speaking of pain: I think I'm heading toward better even though they didn't help much during my hospitalization. At least that seemed to give me a toehold. ***Knock on wood!***

I'm trying so hard to come back! I know you've heard this from me so many times. I was doing so much better on a painkiller, then my regular doctor took me off of it and offered nothing in its place! So, I'm getting by with Tylenol Extra Strength and determination to fight back. I don't know how well I'll do. I'm hopelessly behind on stories, and, most places, there have been no responses to my last post. So, maybe everyone is occupied elsewhere, too, with all of the things life throws at us, both good and bad.

I'll be trying to contact people to see what can be picked up/continued and perhaps alternatives/new scenes.

I miss everyone, and I definitely miss RPing! Gosh! I've never even gotten to have a guest at Dorian's home-on-the-Seine! The one story I thought would lead to this seems to have been abandoned unfortunately. Perhaps I can get that thread under way, as well as other places.

So, does anyone have a wish to pick up an old story or to create a new one? PM me, leave a note here, or, best way perhaps, leave notes on the guys' Unmasking threads.

I'm going to give this another try! Just about the time I thought I would be able to RP, I fell and injured my left hand and arm again. Then, when I was getting better, I came down with "stomach flu", whatever bug is going around. I'm on the verge of getting over it though now my poor mom has it. But, I'm hoping that my brain will cooperate and that I can round up some plot bunnies that I think decided to nap in some dark corners of my mind. Let's hope I can do it this time! I've heard from three members who want to write, including Witch, of course.

So, perhaps I can get my guys active again.

I guess we aren't going to have a Halloween event. That makes me wish that I had set up an invitation at Easy's house, Sanctuary. I always dreamed of him having a Halloween party there, back when he had roommates (Miss you, Mascii and Pyro! *sigh*). Their housewarming/masquerade party was a resounding flop, so does that mean that a second party would be as distressful? That big ol' house would be a great one for a party, especially a costume type.

Where do I get started back into the RPing habit?! I don't know if any of the old stories are viable or if I should just start from scratch, since some time has passed.

Hooray! My Net connection has been restored, and my laptop seems to be behaving! Just when I was getting started on a Dorian post, my PC started acting up, with the connection being so on-and-off that I had to give up. Strangely, our cable was acting up, too, with no schedules showing up. Now, if I had both in a "bundle", I'd have figured it was some provider problem. Anyway, both problems seem to be straightened out, and it's only midnight, so I can RP! Hooray!

Erik: Yes, I'd love to RP with you! Sure, I can find a spot for Golden, who's quite the tourist when he's not working at the Opera House or elsewhere. Anywhere in particular that you fancy? He hasn't been to the Eiffel Tower for a while; then, there's the Louvre; or, he could be beaking into one of his impromptu musical numbers. Give him some rain and an umbrella, and he's Gene Kelly! I'm not sure which persona he would take, as he's been everything from superspy to foreign prince, from fairly average guy (as average as he can be) to brooding, drunken Basque. And, he revealed his janitorial self to a shocked Madeleine; we never got to finish that one. Or, she can meet Golden the extrovert who breaks into musical numbers at the tiniest inspiration, a touristy guy who views Paris as a playland.

That's great! I've been reading Evangeline's profile and find her intriguing. Easy has been thinking of acting for quite some time, having taken at least one course at the Opera House. Let's see... Dorian would flirt with Ember AND Evangeline=} Golden would enjoy meeting any or all of the three. I seem to recall Easy meeting Ember; wasn't that a long time ago? Ooh... Yes, I think that they would probably be in that ultra-polite, carefully worded mode. I know that Golden would have set that try down and walked out. When he returned~perhaps a day or two later, he would have acted as if none of that had taken place. At least, that's how I saw it in my mind. If necessary, we can chat about it on either of the Unmasking threads.

Or, he's on the couch with pizza and a Coke while she goes with her choice. There are a number of possibilities.

Yes, we could set up a Dorian/Cara meeting in the alleyways. The last time I had him there, he rescued a lady in distress (Verity) then passed himself off as a sort of spy, very dramatic and serious. But, since Cara knows him... Did you want to set that up?

If you'd like to RP, I have three guys free in many places. I know others are trying to become more active in RPing, too. I'm sure we understand delays; I hope everyone does because I sometimes have delays. I imagine that everyone would like to reply speedily, but it can be difficult to do that at times. I think we're very patient here.

I'd love to work with Dorian more! I've just begun to explore him. I'd be pleased to have him meet any of your three: Arielle, Scarlett and/or Fabian. Did you have any ideas for meetings? Dorian is a janitor for now, but he excels at creating other "selves" when out in the world.

Did Easy meet Arielle once? I was thinking that they met while watching the Eiffel Tower lights. Perhaps my memory is playing tricks on me. It might be interesting is Arielle does meet Easy, as he already has collapsed once~at a nightclub, as I recall. A doctor took care of him and warned him about his health.

I had stories going in some threads, but so much time has passed that I imagine they won't be continued. So, I'm active in only a few threads.

Yes, I would! I remember correctly: Easy was very attracted to her because of her resemblance to Allegra Zahn, a girl was a friend then one-time lover back in California. He never knew that they had a son till Eden was left with him for a visit while Allegra is involved in studies. I haven't decided if Eden should be kept around.

As I mentioned: Easy's health is not the best, and he hasn't learned much from his neglecting eating while staying away from liquor. Will he see her as a nurse or as the nice lady he met that evening?

EDIT: Oh my! I have lots of posts to respond to! It's just a little after 10 p.m., and I'm watching "Van Helsing". So, I should be staying alert enough to get caught up quickly. I've been very lucky so far.

I apologize for not being on tonight and perhaps not being able to respond till later today. I have a cataract in my left eye. I swear that some days it seems to shift; my vision was so bad today that I had a terrible time trying to type. It's clearing up a little, but it's past 3:30 a.m. I hope that, after some sleep, it will be better. I have no idea why it's worse some days, but today certainly was a baddie, even with my contact lenses in.

I hope that I can start writing early in the afternoon, as I certainly have a lot to respond to! Golden and I have been debating on what HE wants to play (something wild and ambitious) and my safer selection at the Bois. Hollie: I'm not sure if we had any ideas about who might be meeting whom and where they might meet.

I was just reading Christian's Unmasking thread. We had discussed the possibility of Easy and Christian meeting Backstage after rehearsal, being fellow violinists. Wow! Our plan was so long ago! Of course, a lot happened after that, including my computer dying then being brought back to life through three other motherboards before this one decided to last. That and ER visits and hospitalization sort of messed up my participating here.

So, we could try that postponed meeting.

Aurelien has always made me curious when I considered how he might mingle with any of my guys. Easy is so rough around the edges; Golden, a terribly touristy American who doesn't seem to mind risking embarrassing himself; and Dorian, who, as a janitor, would not likely catch Aurrie's attention unless his mop crossed shoes. But, Dorian can be very different, depending on where he is.

TO EVERYONE: I'm still wondering who will help me christen Dorian's houseboat. As I've said before, it looked as if Madeleine would be there, but that story stopped at the hotel. So, Dorian hasn't had a written-down encounter there. Maybe I'll get that post written in which he is fixing up the boat for winter.

Samness: Belated get well wishes go your way! I'm sort of under the weather enough to not be very sharp. I should have wished you that earlier, but I'm such a fuzzybrain. :spin2:

Natalia: I honestly do not think he would take her to his home. He wants her home with her children obviously and seems intent on seeing to it. Remember when he took her to the place he was "squatting", Raven's apartment. I don't think he'd repeat the experience.

I apologize for not being on-line. Yesterday, I had to go to the doctor, then we ran errands. It took more out of me than I expected. By the evening, I was running a fever, and my back and legs hurt severely. I was sick all night and most of the day. I'm feeling a little better now and hope to answer some posts.

Meanwhile, Easy is fairly uptight in the rehearsal room. We know it would be quite different if the person with him was of another gender, not that he's not susceptible occasionally to women. He just seems to be in a rather odd mood, not very like the usual talkative Cat we know he can be. Maybe it's because he's in the holiday season and missing former friends. He used to be a gift-buying fiend but seems to have fallen away from that.

I still intend to get him to the Doctor's Office.

I'm trying to come back, too. We've had a lot of serious illnesses and health problems in the family, including my older cousin and her mother (my mother's older sister); Mom's younger sister; and even my mom and I. What's happening can't be changed, so I'm trying not to fret about it.

I don't think I've received responses to anyone in the Christmas event, but, if it's still going, I'd be happy to pick up any stories. Dorian never got to meet anyone. And, Golden and Easy are waiting.

Thank you for the kind thoughts. I do need them. I've been unable to write because I'm having intense pain in the chest and down both arms. My doctor is trying to track down if this is just a connective tissue problem (fibromyalgia, etc.) or my heart. I hope it's just in the muscles, but it's extreme and makes writing almost impossible. I've tried topical creams such as Theragesic and Bengay Cold Therapy, but they help only for a short time.

I have so many ideas and want to continue RPing. Right now, the only posts I have~that I recall~are Samantha/Dorian and Easy/Feliks. I have actions mapped out in my mind, but the pain becomes so intense as I write that it's frightening. If I feel well enough, I'll see the doctor and undergo tests sometime during the upcoming week. Instead, I want to explore the streets of Paris! I hate when life gets in the way of fun={

I'm so relieved! :wiggle: I contacted my Net provider, and the tech guy said that it was a problem they couldn't fix, basically saying that I was out of luck. WHEW! :spin2: I'm so relieved! We finally have things a bit stable now, with everyone out of the hospital though one of my aunts is in a nursing home. My older cousin says that she's proving the doctors wrong when they told her she had only six months left.

So, we're all trying to get back to a big more regular life. Sadly, one of our cats died, and another was very ill. But, now, after two vet visits, Muffin is back to his old self. Thank goodness! :ohappy:

We presently have a winter storm covering us. I'm heading for bed, with plans to do scenes tomorrow. :violin:

I had a new character planned, then I was thinking of reviving Raven Corbett. Now, I'm torn because someone has shown up just begging to take part though I'm not sure if I can handle where he might be from. We'll see. I've missed Raven, but he was rather a quiet character most of the time. I even had a notion of a major change in his life. I'll let the plot bunnies fight it out.

Hey everyone! I'm back, sort of, and I hope everyone is doing well. Mysti, would you care to start any plots up with me? I'm a bit out of practice with my character Tess but I'd like to jump back into things if at all possible! I know we had some stuff planned but for the life of me I can't remember what.

Yes! I want to get back to RPing. Life has been overloading on me, and I need a lot of escapism. I want to get responses made and hope to start new stories if at all possible.

I have a new character trying to step in, but I'm worried that he will seem like a conflict to an already-established one. I think I could make him different enough. After all, I did tackle a "Mr. Perfect" character with Golden Hunt, who turned into a fairly popular guy who I hope isn't too male-"Mary Sue"; I think he's quirky enough to escape that designation.

BTW: Is that scene in the gazebo going to continue? I think I scared away my writing partner! Well, her character said that she was ready for anything. Unbridled Golden was a bit over that~a lot bit over that!

Will the Nothing Special story continue, with Easy having company at Sanctuary? So far, I haven't had a lot of luck with Sanctuary stories.

I didn't have luck with Dorian's Domicile either. I thought we had a good start, then it came to a halt. *sigh* I'm still wondering if I'll get to do a scene there someday.

That will be a toughie, but I can give it a try. I admit that my thinking has been particularly foggy, not like times when I can sort of zip through stories. Their relationship is somewhat of a shipwreck, so it would be a challenge to see if the split can be mended.

I think it would be a challenge as they've never really talked about what's happened. Yes Golden has made of point in saying he doesn't like the fact she's been hiding things and while Evea understands that she also feels she's told him ASAP.

The weather does seem to be letting up. A couple of nights ago, we had a very close call with a tornado, but our luck held out. *whew*
