Yeah, I've seen that episode. I was crying like a baby. But even though he's dead, Ian Somerhadler (Boone) says that he will be back for flashbacks! Yay!

In my opinion, this is one of the best new shows of the year! I haven't seen the last few episodes, but I have them on tape, so as soon as I get a chance, guess what I'm doing? ;) The last episode I saw was the one that was basically a review of the season thus far. I think. Was that before or after Boone died? Because I definitely saw the one where Boone died. I cried soooooooooo badly when he died. :(

I agree. I kinda liked how there was a cliffhanger involved that wasn't completely upsetting (the hatch part), but maybe it was a bit too much.

What was wrong with the ending? There were so many cliff hangers there that I have no clue who is going to end up doing what! My poor Sawyer was shot but, he was shot in the shoulder if you watched closely.

I thought the montage at the end of everyone getting on the plane was awesome. It shows so much about their characters.

I'm so glad that they're re-running the whole season this summer!

Oh my goodness, I am in love with this show and I haven't even seen all the episodes, but I can't wait for a DVD set so I can see them all. Especially the ones with Boone (I'm in love with Ian Somerhalder). The season finale made me cry! Every episode I have seen is bittersweet. Something good and sad happens I swear... Does anyone have a favourite couple? I like Sayid and Shannon also Charlie and Claire. :D

Yeah, I love Lost with a passion! :) It totally rocks. Although I haven't seen a lot of episodes and only recently heard about the double death that occured - didn't know the blonde, so yeah...happy about that! I was paranoid it was Shannon, cause I totally adore her, but *sigh* Thank goodness it wasn't/isn't/whatever!

I also have strange shipper tendancies...as in I LOATHE Charlie/Claire, and would prefer Charlie/Kate to that. Even though I think Kate belongs with Jack, really. And I want Sawyer and Shannon to get together cause they'd make such a great ship! XD *ships them regardless* Hehehe.

I have dedicated my life to LOST, the show is absoutly fabulous, and i never miss and episode. The season finale finally gave us back a little of the mystery of the island and left me drooling for the next season. In the mean time i shall have to enertain myself otherwise i guess (bring on the reruns). As for whom is my fav character, i'm really not sure seems that with each episode you learn somthing that makes you change your mind about someone. You may hate them, then love them, then hate them again (ok, so i dont really hate any of them, but you get the idea) - Anyways my whole point of this little schpiel is that LOST is the best show ever!

Lost is indeed awesome, I saw my earlier post heh, my love for the show has doubled. Now I am in love with Sawyer he is the greatest anti-hero and his one-liners, *swoon* I would die for him. (This is all probably due to the fact I bought the first season and got to see all those episodes like the ones with his background stories, etc. He is such a fascinating and hott, hott hott character. :))

I've been a fan since the show started, but the endless reruns can be aggravating! Whatever happened to showing a series through THEN rerunning it?!

Anyway, any show with Naveen Andrews, Daniel Dae Kim, Josh Holloway and Ian Somerhalder in it is going to have me hooked! I would watch the WORST movie/series to see Naveen!

It is fascinating to watch for all the hidden elements.

It does bug me that they made a big deal of the boy having "special abilities" then seem to have dropped it. Where's the continuity, guys?!

It is a show that does beg to be viewed repeatedly--but in the proper sequence! Oh well...

OHMAGEEZ, I'm obsessed. And better yet, I got my whole family obsessed, too. I was unable to watch Lost when it first came out because I was a member of this club that met every Wednesday, and by the time I quit the following year, I knew I couldn't just start watching it. So check out this dedication: I bought both seasons. Yeah. And I don't even have a job; that came straight out of my pocket.

I've watched all the bonus features, including Life According to Sawyer, which was AMAZING. Sawyer is without a doubt my favorite character, with second place falling to Hurley. I'm also a major Skate shipper, because Jack needs to get over his whining hero complex if you ask me. :nod:

Eeeeee...'tis on the bonus features disc of season two in Phase #1. And it is amazing. It's basically a history of Sawyer's awesomeness that is his nicknaming of all his fellow castaways.

CAREFUL! Spoilers for the THIRD SEASON FINALE, ahoy!

So, I'm assuming all y'all saw the season finale, which was totally KICKASS. It blew me away. And I bawled for a half-hour after Charlie's death. But...that's not why I'm here. I'm here because I found this theory that I found highly, highly intriguing.

I haven’t read through all the new theories yet so forgive me if this has already been posted. I’ve read some speculation that the person Kate refers to when talking to Jack, the man she seems afraid will notice her absence, is Sawyer. I’m going to venture a different guess—I think its her Dad, the man she blew up.

Obviously I’m going with the altered time line idea of the flash forward. I think that what has changed is the back story event that got them onto the island in the first place. Jack’s Dad is alive so he never had to make that trip to Australia. Kate never killed her stepfather. I think the twist about fate that the writers have added in is that the event for which the Losties needed redemption will, if reversed, not save them but doom them. Somehow Jack’s Dad being alive means that Jack is now turning into his Dad. Kate’s father being alive means she is trapped with him. I think one piece of evidence for this is the "Through the Looking Glass" idea that everything will turn out the very opposite of what one expected. Getting a "do-over" is not salvation but a curse. The other strongest piece is that Kate is not in jail.

I don’t know how it will play out—especially what has happened to send Jack down that path—but that’s my current guess. I have one other variation on this theory—if Sawyer is the "he" then he has become exactly like Wayne so that Kate is now in the same fated place she had escaped from.

At first I was a little incredulous, as it wouldn't make sense that Jack and Kate still know each other after all that, but then I realized that what this person is essentially saying is that our Losties come back from the island only to find that everything is as it was before their condemning moment (Kate killing her stepfather, Jack accusing his father, Sawyer either committing murder or betraying Cassidy, etc). It's kind of far-fetched, I suppose, but still, it was an interesting read and provided me with a lot to think about.

One last theory, written by...me. Yay!

The theory that I prefer for the whole "who's in the coffin, who is Kate referring to when she said she has to get home" thing is this: The man in the coffin is Sawyer. I hate to think that, because Sawyer's my favorite character, but it would make sense. The person she has to get home to is the son she has with (and was subsequently abandoned by) Sawyer. It works, because there's this whole big scare about Kate being pregnant. It also coincides with the reasoning behind why Kate refuses to go to the funeral; why would she want to mourn the man who left her? And it justifies why Jack would say he's neither family nor a friend.

However, there are rumors going around about how this is a 'possible' ending, dependent on the course of action taken by the Losties while they're still on the island. I like this theory, because we've already seen that Sawyer has a thing about hurting children, as demonstrated by the way he reacts when faced with the idea of killing Tom (who kidnapped Walt) and the son of the couple he was trying to con in a flashback. In this sense, maybe the ending we saw is what happens if they do in fact leave the island when Jack calls the boat.

I kind of flipped a sh*t when...well, Katia knows what I'm talking about cos I sent her a crazy OMGWTF text when it happened. The helicopter thing...yeah. Totes less than thrilled.

After the helicoptor thing I was a bit freaked. And does anyone else think that it is incredibly sad that Sawyer thinks that Kate is dead!!! The look on his face broke my heart!! I'm sorry, but Skate Rules All!! This is pretty much the only pairing KT and I agree on! LOL!

My friend and I have some ideas as to what's going to go on. They'll probably flash between Jack trying to recruit everyone to go back to the island with him and everyone on the island after it gets moved.

(The next paragraph is me trying to talk about what happened without our spoiler thing...KT I am sad D: ) And WTF is going on with Sun and Penny's dad? I remember Jack saying that she was mad because she blames him for Jin.... but then again, what happened to them? Because Jack's dad was like: YO Michael, time to go!
