Originating as a place of business in 1870, Newport Beach was incorporated as a city in 1906. Since then, after over a hundred years in documented history Newport Beach has often been rocked by corruption and scandal, often the old adage that power goes to the head is brought into play in regards to the people involved. it's common knowledge that the people you hang out with make you who you are. without them you're nothing. at Rydell High, cliques are more than just a definition of you, they're a way of life. the t-birds and pink ladies rule Rydell with icy words. they know what's cool and what isn't, and they won't hesitate to let everyone else at school know it too. for the last three years they've ruled without contest, but this year ... well, this year is going to be one for the books, because this year, all hell is going to break loose.

for as long as all can remember the t-birds and scorpions have been at each other's throats and racing for pinks since they were able to drive. what many don't remember is that two of them used to be friends, and good ones at that. this year will test the past and future of what was once a brotherly love for the other is nothing more than a driving need to be nothing less than the best of the best when it comes to racing.

both the pink ladies and the t-birds have tangoed with the scarlet gypsies of St. Bernadette's in the past, but it seems the dance steps have changed overnight. to mix and mingle with the enemy is against the code, but to mix with someone of a different clique? that's equally as bad, but this time around the time is ripe to pursue the wrong boy or girl because the social ladder is suddenly crumbling out from underneath the ones on top. student-teacher love affairs, going after your sister's brother, dating the enemy, fighting over the last girl on earth you should be caught dead with, dating two guys at once, setting up others, and seduction of the highest degree -- it all seems like something out of the movies, but it's not.

I roleplay heavily on MySpace and have been playing the de Chagny family for almost a year with other players. I just set up a new de Chagny family RPG and am looking for players. Six of the characters are directly from Leroux's description of Philippe, Raoul, the two sisters, and the elderly aunt. We also have a few extra characters in the mix for fun.

For the past 30 years the Opera House has been running smoothly but, there is a rumor there is a new management on the horizon. But, only time will tell if it is only a rumor or if there is any truth to this whisper upon the wind of the many Paris citizens & even some that are not of French descent.


Extra! Extra!

Rumors have been floating around Paris about the Paris Opera House on there supposable being new management so far there is no answer to this question but, what if it is true? Only time will tell & on how the Opera House & all those with in it well take to the idea, or if it should happen how they will deal with it.

Now it is February 1920, the Opera House is running smoothly for now but, the manager of the opera house Gerard Carriere that has been running the opera for the last 30 years with out trouble, is about to be told that the Opera House will be placed under new management. And with it means that he will be replaced as the manager of the opera but, what will become of this with in the opera will the works & staff at the opera except the new management of the opera & how will the one call the opera ghost take the news when he finds out. The odds are that it will not be good & should the management not takes the ghost orders things will not go well with in the opera & what if this happens will mean for the Opera House & all those with in it.

Now with the new management at run with in the Opera House, nothing is about to be the same as it once was & with the way things are running there are rumors with in the staff & workers at the opera that the one call the Opera Ghost is not pleased. So far no harm has come to the Opera House or those under it’s roof, the management so far has only so far in not paying the opera ghost there salary, not giving them there box that they have requested & they are not taking or fallowing any of the notes that the ghosts sends.

I too allow them on mine but have found that many dont and you get booted out which I don't think is fair when you have found something interesting to share such as news reviews or photographs. So glad I found the forum.
