I thought a thread on this show should be started, lol. Im a new watcher to Desperate Housewives, though Im not a crazed fanatic. The show has been getting popular lately, though not having that many new episodes but every few weeks sometimes. What does everyone else think of the show?
Personally, Andrew Van de Camp is a little demon.

It is hilarious. The show is really good - and it's on tomorrow! Woo! Lol, demon. Brie (sp) Is probably my favourite. She's that little bit crazy trying to be perfect. Trés funny.

Oi, I just realized I missed tonight's episode. I was too busy fiddling around online to sit down at the couch and watch television. But other than that the show is heavily picking up speed. There aren't but like four more episodes I left I think.

Gabrielle is pregnant from her teenage lover right? That's what I got from when I watched the scene a few weeks ago when they closed up on them in the bed (eww lol). I realized I missed another week's DH so I'll have to find somewhere to catch up on it all.

I've been watching it every week since like, the third episode. (Like the one where Susan ends up getting locked outside without anything on and Mike sees her... XD)
I <3 it. It has such good twists.
I like Zach, for some reason. Poor guy...

I'm wondering how far behind we are in the UK from the US, from the sound sof things, about three episodes or so, so do be careful about major spoilers ;) But seeing as certain topics have already been mentioned, I'll leave off the tags for now.
Andrew Van De Kamp, I want to give him a slap. Horrible child.
Bree is so my favourite. She rocks. I think Tom Scavo is probably my favourite of the husbands.
I think Gabrielle's baby is John's, because didn't Carlos start fiddling with her birth control pills a long time before she actually got pregnant? It takes a while after coming off the pill for a woman to be fully fertile again (although obviously you can conceive if you miss once or twice), and the fact that Gabrielle was really mad with her husband and didn't sleep with him for a while recently, means that while she's been having an affair with John, it's been at her most fertile period, so the chances of it being his baby are vastly increased.
I like Zach too, what a sweetie.

Yes, he did, and I believe that too. :O
Did anyone else see the season finale? During one part of it, I actually cried. T_T; *Whimper.*
But, like many sources said, it did solve a lot of interesting questions. I will say that about it... But I won't say anything more...
Except...
Spoiler!
I think Zach is Mike's kid. o_O;

Yeah, its one of those shows that you're not too sure whether you should tell everyone you like it, lol. But I haven't seen an episode in a while because I usually forgot to sit down and watch it. That's how busy I've been for a while lol.

That's why I love TiVo! It's set to record every new episode so we don't miss any! :)
Sadako I agree with you, i Think so too.

Aww, I've never had to deal with Tivo. I'm really smart but I can't even figure out how to type on a laptop, hahah. But yeah, Desperate Housewives is one of those shows that's like "a dirty secret you don't want to tell anyone." The show is really good but then you almost feel bad for telling anyone you like it. ;)

Hehe, speaking of that, I told an older teacher of mine I watched it on a regular basis. I think he's in his 60s.
He was like, "You shouldn't be watching that! XD"
"But I like to!"

Lol, teachers can be a trip sometimes. I know a few people, guys included, from my marching band that watch it. But for some odd reason people have the stigma that if you're a guy and watch Desperate Housewives that you're gay. But I'm straight.

My Mom and I make my Dad watch it. He tries to act like he hates it, but I do think he's interested in the storyline now... Heh.
And one of my best guy friends watches it.

I am also a new Desperate Housewives fan, I started watching it this season after I finally realized I had become addicted to soaps and drama shows. I am also a big Teri Hatcher fan back to the time she played Lois on the Adventures of Lois and Clark, at least thats what I think it was called. I can't remember. My favorite housewives are Susan and Gabrielle. I am starting to become attached to Super Mom Lynette Schavo and Miss Perfection Bree Van De Kemp. I'm not much of a Edie fan , I don't really call her a desperate housewife. Desperate maybe but, not a housewife. The show is addictive to watch and I can't wait to see new episodes.

I love this show. It is hilarous! I am a fan of this show but not a fanatic. I usually watch it with me my mom and my lder brother. He used to think Desprate Housewives was stupid, but, now he is enjoying watchin it as much as we do! I thought the season finale was ...very interesting and funny.

I have always been addicted to this show, ever since it started. Bree is my favorite character, I couldn't picture anybody else but Marcia playing Bree.
The S2 Bree scared me, made me cry and made me very angry at times. But the finale made up for that. And now i'm back to being angry, after the spoiler I read. Tsk Tsk Bree.
Bree refers to Orson as her fiancee , I think it's pretty safe to assume there will be a wedding.
Gag me with a spoon..please!?

I didn't really get into Desperate Housewives until the middle of the second season, because my gal pals were all like "You can't not watch it anymore!," so the five of us sat down and watched it together...and realized that there were five Housewives and five of us, so we became our school's Desperate Housewives...I'm Bree, no real surprise there if you know me. :P
Anyway, I loved Rex, because I love Steven Culp, and I was SO sad when he died! Of course, I also liked George for some weird reason, too. So, that's kinda weird...but anyway. I don't really like Susan, because I'm not a huge Teri Hatcher fan. I think she's playing the role okay, but I just don't like her. *shrug* Felicity Huffman cracks me up as Lynette, and I think that she and Doug Savant have great chemistry. It's like, they've been together SO long that they get irritated with one another every once in awhile over silly little things, but you can tell they still love each other.
I used to like Carlos. And then the season finale happened, and I was like "Damnit! I don't like him anymore!" and I was sad. Edie makes me laugh because she's such a man-eating spaz. Gabrielle's okay, too. But Bree is my favorite.
I'm also gonna go with the consensus and say that Andrew is a frightening child. He totally is. I was like "...." when Bree found him with whatever Lee Tergesen's character's name was...Peter? Whatever. Point is, he is pretty much a demon.
Can't wait for the season premiere!!

Oh goodness, I haven't seen this show since the beginning of season three. But I love it anyway....waiting for the season to end so I can watch it all at once on DVD. The best character is most definitely Bree, and I know everyone seems to hate Andrew but I must say I actually like the guy - he makes the show extremely entertaining and interesting.

I never expected to like this show as much as I do. My mom and I make a point of catching it every week and were really bugged when our cable company said it couldn't carry that channel anymore. Well, enough irate people must have blasted them because we got it back just in time for the "Lost" season debut.
Being a redhead, I'm a Bree fan. I LOVE Richard Burgi, whose previous series, "The Sentinel", is one of my favorites. Eva Longoria steals the show most of the time. And, why, when they're referring to hunks, do they mention the plumber and the gardener but never Carlos?! We've been Hatcher fans since she played Penny in "MacGyver". (Does anyone remember that?) She does a very convincing job of playing a klutz, which most people do too obvious a job of. Susan is a very funny character.
The guest stars have been a lot of fun, with some surprise casting. All in all, it remains a very entertaining show, definitely a dramedy.

WHO SAW THE FINALE??
All I can say is, wow. First of all I feel bad for Bree, she always seems to get the creepy guys. As for Tom, he needs to grow some courage. It took him THAT long to realize that Kayla was a demon child? Seriously, and then he didn't even stick up for his own wife. And Gabby, I just love her. Susan, WHERE DOES MIKE GO?!?!?!?

I can't help but love this show. Actually, I used to make fun of my mom for watcing it, claiming that it was too "soap-operay" and was dumb. But soon I found myself putting off my homework and staying up late on Sunday nights just to see what would befall the four zanny housewives. I suppose what got me hooked were the reruns on Lifetime that I watched when I was sick. Thank God for that I guess, because it's probably the only show I follow now-a-days.
I can't wait for the next season and I'm anxious to see who Mike marries. Personally, I hope he goes with Susan. I've never liked Catherine much...

I used to watch this with a bunch of my friends and we would laugh because how it was so soapy. It was weird because when we stopped watching it together we would watch it independently. Obviously we watched it together because we would laugh about it, eventually we all thought it was actually "good". I still almost beg to differ.

I caught a little of the episode that aired last night. The only part I remember is at the beginning, the narrator is talking about a kidnapped child.
Didn't really care too much for it.
